@@IWantToMature85 for what 2000s kids exactly? cus no offense meant here but the first spiderman came out in 2002 and the majority of y'all would've been fresh outta the womb or too young for that role to have had any sort of real, meaningful impact. not to mention, it would be more accurate to say that the 2010s is the superhero era considering it wasnt until iron man and the dark knight - both of which premiered in 2008 - that people started enjoying and appreciating superhero films. (i'd also argue that her role as torrence in bring it on is far more iconic, memorable, and culturally impactful than spiderman ever was for 2000s kids! you wanna talk fame-turning roles for kristen in the early millennium, that was it! its themes are still relevant today and the movie is frequently referenced by old and new fans alike.) and since we're being honest here, mary jane wasn't a great role for her. it wasn't even a good one considering the endless amount of fantastic films she's starred in that were made all the more better by her presence. it was just okay! she's a wonderful actor with loads of skill and talent, so the fact that someone would claim her most memorable role was playing "spiderman's girlfriend" is an insult of the highest order lmao! it's saying that she was forgettable and talentless, which would be an easy assumption to make if that was the only movie you've ever seen kirsten in. but if you realized (like many of us have) how phenomenal she is, then you would've sought out her other movies like interview with the vampire. and watching that film clearly cements her as being incredible in her craft, *and* it's made even more amazing by the fact that she was only a child, holding her own with the likes of tom cruise and brad pitt. wow! in short, it's essential viewing for kirsten fans, particularly if you were at all impacted by lukewarm mary jane like you claim 2000s kids are. (and for the record, i was only born a decade earlier!)

Kirsten Dunst is one of the best actors around. Some of her acting sends chills down my spine just thinking about it, for example Melancholia. They would have never said that Leo's best role was when he played Rose's love interest, for example. Here is a girl who looks like a porcelain doll, but as her character develops, she must be hyperintelligent, classy, devious, and even sultry. Her performance amazed me. As far as I recall the Walk of fame star is kind of a play for play thing. You have to be nominated for it, an application made and if approved, the applicant has raise 30k to pay for the installation and the person named has to show up for it.

Whoever nominates the person for a star (an organization or a studio, etc.) has to pay $50,000. The person nominated has to actually want/approve a star as well. About 200 people are nominated each year with only about 20+ stars receiving them. (There's a selection committee that chooses who gets one.) This is all according to Wikipedia.
