I was in love with Dunst when Spiderman came out back in 2002 when I was 14. I already knew her from the vampire movie and Jumanji but since Spiderman she became one of my favorite actors and I kept being impressed by her following her career. She is very grounded and such a lovely person. Never disappoints.

Kirsten has such an interesting career and she has made some great choices. She is also clearly sought after by great directors and indeed she has always strived to work with real auteurs. There’s so many good performances but one of my favourites is in Fargo and also I really like the slightly obscure The Two Faces of January. Jamie will surely have a fruitful career and we knew this by the time The Fall came out.

The first time I saw Kirsten Dunst was An Interview With A Vampire. I thought she was amazing. She was like 11 or 12 years old and she blew my mind. She was able to go from a young child to an adult in a child's body and make it really believable. It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I still don't understand why she didn't get an Oscar for her performance. I thought the movie was awesome. It was the first movie I ever purchased on VHS. I probably watched it over 20 times. But when I saw Tom Cruise totally take down the movie (by talking about how bad it was) on The Oprah Show, I felt like a total fool for buying it. I didn't buy another movie for 15 years when I purchased Avatar for myself and 20 friends and family members for Christmas. That turned out to be a total disaster too because some "genius" decided split the video and put it on 2 CD's which required the viewers to get up and change the CD in the middle of the movie. That kind of ruined the mood of the movie. Everyone complained to me about it as if the decision to set them up that way had been my choice. I got so tired of having to apologize for something I had no control over. That was 13 years ago. I didn't purchase another movie until the 50 shades of Grey trilogy. I didn't decide to actually purchase them until I watched a few of the interviews with Jamie and Dakota when they talked about the movies. They seemed to be proud of their work, as they should be. So I went ahead and I purchased them on digital. So far I am very happy. THANK GOODNESS Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson don't go around saying the movies are horrible. Some actors don't seem to realize if they think their work is horrible then why should I (as an audience member) watch it?
