Kansas Isn’t flat We have the best education system in the country, free public college for residents, and the cleanest water supply in the US. We have middle schoolers learning what you guys learn in high school through a program called Regents and many graduate by 15/16/17 (depending on their birthday) thanks to the program. Also native New Yorkers are given programs for networking purposes to increase wealth. We have a 24 hour affordable public transit system and strict laws protecting tenants. We also get higher minimum wage and plenty of tax cuts if you know how to use them. The part of NY you’re seeing in this video and the original poster saw isn’t the REAL New York at all. Don’t buy that lie. They make the rent higher because they’re stupid and get taken advantage of and want to bring their friends but not get REAL jobs. Fuck them.

alize0623 if by clean then you mean full of toxic chlorine and fluoride, then probably. I don’t drink tap water and neither should you. You are already showing your typical nyc ignorance because your minimum wage is less than Seattle and not that much different from other cities. Anyways 15$ there is equal to what I can buy with 4$. You’ve done quite well in organizing your apartment. I live in 40 square feet an am also very comfortable. It just takes a little adjustment and planning. The only thing I don’t have is a bath. An athletic club close by fits that need.

@@IIISentorIII last year I visited Manhattan ( May ) and we stayed in a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment. It was not as small as this and we paid 1,350 for 5 nights . We find cheaper apartments but with shared bathroom. Very expensive to live in NYC and tiny spaces, is a big NO for me. Love the city but only for vacation.

SymbolicBodom, her landlord was cruel. After finding out she lived there despite not being on the lease, he doubled the rent, so she moved out. Video: "Remember the microstudio viral video? See Felice Cohen's new home" at Kirsten Dirken channel.

In NYC, this isn't uncommon. It's just a very expensive place to live, so people put stuff in unlikely places.

I really admire you for having decided what’s the most important thing in your life and accepting the rest of what goes with it! I’m impressed that a bathroom could be installed in that space and also makes living small, bearable and even comefortable, the window is important also. I think you’ve done really well with the space and especially the bed, but I think we’d all like to know what the rent costs. Could you include that in the next video please? Thanks
