This was like stepping into a fairy tale. Old homes and buildings have such character and they have so many life stories to tell. Passing from one generation into centuries of generations who embrace them and care for them till it is time to pass them on. Another uplifting video. Absolutely nothing not to love about it. Charming house, beautiful grounds, lots of animals that are obviously loved and even gluten-free goodies. 💕💕💕 There is nothing that can compare to the exposed handhewn beams in these buildings that are hundreds of years old. It is so impressive that good craftsmanship not only stands the test of time but still outshines modern construction. It would be a dream come true to live in one of these. Dorset my old home! We lived in an ancient thatched cottage. It had two very large fireplaces in the drawing room and to my horror in autumn big spiders used to come through the chimney. When my husband was in camp I got the neighbour to remove it! 😱😂

Oh my Goodness, I can walk in my minds eye right into Christmas in this beautiful home. It would be like walking back into a time when Christmas truly mattered and traditions were important. The tender, humbled, cherished, elegant, fun times where a home was filled with gathering of family and friends, hugs, laughter, smells of the season and favorite dishes, spoons clanking in a family heirloom bowl, gathered around the table sharing recipes and everyone telling memories of their past and times gone, hearing about precious family members who aren't with us anymore and what they added to the Holiday and family... Sounds of footsteps, children giggling and snuggling up under their favorite blanket, excited yet exhausted from the events, even the sounds of the older Uncle snoring while relaxed in a old comfy chair in the corner... THAT is what I see when I see this beautiful home. I can also see the walls absorbing and adding to the bones of it the sounds of children playing, people laughing .. soaking the aromas .. whiffs of perfumes as they walk through and sitting on the window seat, soaking in the beauty of soft, gentle snow falling as it's lit from the moonlight with the reflection of the fireplace in the glass. This is what my minds eyes see as you share this home and family. What a BEAUTIFUL "life" this home has had and now shares with another. Thank you for sharing with us! This is truly a gem of years gone by, today and a glimpse into tomorrow. Be blessed and safe (The Bedroom is absolutely stunning!! The beautiful wood working on the Ceiling is the most beautiful thing I think I have seen! I am truly on AWE! )

Delightful, quirky, down to earth. (Could tell it was a great pleasure for you, Kirsten). That's a home... full of colour and life. Understand, I think, Emma's point about the bones of the place. She was so lovely...warm and welcoming. Her cottage industry looks such good quality and a labour of love...it definitely meets a need. I'm sensitive to gluten and so many early gf products were indeed dry and crumbly. So good to know the standard and availability keeps improving - your vlog has played a part in that. So very sweet, Just love the cottage, and it has so much about it, that makes it very unique! Certainly bought the right home, for them! It was meant to be. The baked goods really look and sound delicious. So nice to have the bakery close to the home and to be able to work nearby and the sale on the first Saturday of each month is very nice and kind of Emma to allow people to purchase something just a little bit off from the norm when baking, and they get a special price. So they pass it on to the customers. Good Gluten free baked goods are hard to find, that taste really good. All realy good ingredients, and wholesome, Thank you Kristen, adn can see that Jeorg does love dogs and Kristen the kittens love you for sure! The cottage is homey, and one a family or visitor can feel at home while there. Very comfortable and relaxing, so it seems. Thank you for the tour of both!
