Love the cozy Cornwall cottage (one of my favorite parts of the U.K), and that you had a roaring fire to enjoy in your cottage. Love your new hat and your style!

I must say, the Brits make a beautiful job of not only choosing some really smashing colour schemes for their shops and cottages, but they also do a very professional job of renovating. Every place looks so inviting, the great condition of the flowers in the hanging baskets must take a bit of maintaining. No wonder people can't resist wanting to enter the shops and cafe's. Thanks Kirsten for taking the time to film some of the finer details. The sign on the outside of the shop you passed was clever, "Gulls Just Wanna have Fun". haha.

I stayed jan - June 2019 in Cornwall... the wind when it came up was unbelievable. Absolutely freezing. But the weather changed so rapidly that I knew the sun would come and when it did omg the beauty and the colours were as good as any Mediterranean destination. Such a breathtaking place. The natural environment, the drama of the sea and cliffs and the history was stunning.

I live in the Tropics and it's a love/hate relationship for me. Yesterday, was one of the hottest days of the year. June through September and oftentimes October, are so hot, you can get sunstroke. When my ductless units are not working, I pray God to shun me from Hell. I want just a puff of the cool breeze you are feeling right now. Wear warm clothing and enjoy your weather, I wish we had it here. Thank you for the trip ito Cornwall.

So neat to see the port done up for Poldark! I actually owned cottage. I called it Rosemary cottage because I planted 6 large Rosemary bushes in the front yard. They say it keeps a woman young to have Rosemary bushes outside her door...and a virtuous woman can grow both lavender and Rosemary outside her front door. Just resettle sold it to move to the country. Love the hat!

My husband and I just finished the last of Poldark and we didn't want it to end!!! It was so nice watching you walk around that area. I hope one day we will come back to Europe and enjoy some of those beautiful areas we long to see. We loved Germany when we were there! We are here in the US and I would move there in a heartbeat! Lol!!!

How young you look Kirsten....and very trendy with your outfits. I did a solo visit to Fowey a few years ago in May. It was beautiful weather and I took the ferry to Polruan. Fowey has many steep walks and I impressed myself huffing and puffing up the hill to St Catherines Castle. There is a live web cam on Readymoney beach so I waved to my sisters at arranged times.😁.💃 I also got the train to St Ives from Par Station. It was beautiful there too. Happy memories. 🏖

I think that cottage is much bigger than the one in The Holiday but bot are ver cosy. There’s a real art in creating a cosy cottage and sadly it’s too easy to end up with a cluttered mess! However, when you get it right they are amazing. I plan at some point to have a small cosy home with an open fire.

The movie “The Holiday” was fantastic Ive forgotten the name as well of that cottage, so cute it was, “Poldark” is another of my fav series It does look cold there im not soo good in the cold lol Nothing like Fish And Chips we have it every week

I used to drive down that very lane in the part of the film you were watching, every day. It was so weird suddenly entering all that snow and then driving out again. Lots of it was filmed where I lived at the time and very soon will be moving back again into a grade 2 listed cottage. Love your channel. 💖

The Burbank Airport Marriott is idea to stay as it’s out of the crowd zone n convenient.... Elijah (my son) n I plan UK this year (I’m Clan Cameron of Lochiel descendant - Achnacarry Castle)... will let you know n maybe treat to ☕️ In Windsor!

I have been watching and enjoying your videos. I live in Canada, but my family is English. So many fond memories are awakened... thank you. Never the less I have unsubscribed, sadly. My reason is said kindly. You have a life most would give anything to have... travelling through wonderland, staying in quaint cottages, wearing fine clothes, eating amazing meals, and doing it all with an adoring husband who never is heard uttering one complaining word. You, Kirsten, always find something to complain about... too wet, too windy, too warm, too cold. God forbid you would ever have a genuine problem, like falling down the stairs and breaking a hip. You are perpetually "not amused" about something... anything. I just can't take it any more and that is why I unsubscribed. Ask your Husband how he lives with a smile, please!

It was a tough time for me when I started to make videos and it was (still is) a big learning process. Aww lol, it's an old video when I still had my blog. The blog put both of us under so much pressure (I also had a collab there) with taking photos as we can only do things like that on weekends since Joerg has a full time job with not much time left. Filming is easier as you have more options should the weather be bad.
