I think we really are privileged to be able " to go with you" and see such a interesting places and buildings. Kirsten, your voice is so inviting and the choice of words so aesthetically beautiful - that any subject becomes interesting, indeed. Robert Burns as a figure of enlightenment is genius, for sure. It's so interesting you mentioned K&J's "choice of words". I'm not native English speaker and I feel exactly the same about them! :) I love Georgian era books; and K&J's calm, respectable vocab and prosody reminds me so much of that time. I love listening to them talk so much ❤

@@sophiecroft01 Hi, 🌞 It is really so much more than just a voice that so many people have mentioned... The tone and intonation is used so wisely and carefully 🌞 If I would say - professionally - that would be boring, I think 🤔🙃. There is some sparkle of magic, but just some🌞..It is really an education and experience, but most importantly - AN ATTITUDE! 🥰

I loved the Pineapple! Visited it in 1979 on my way back to the States from a year living in Greece. Of course in 1979, there were no rooms there to let, just frames of falling apart greenhouses that were built along the walls of the building where they actually grew pineapples in the 1800s.

I had to look up the mysterious, unknown ingredient called 'kurkuma' It turned out to be ordinary tumeric LOL! No TV and no wifi! Heaven! What a perfect way to unplug, unwind and connect! Leave it to the National Trust to provide authentic experiences! Wouldn't it be grand if NT restored Dunmore Park too?!? Thanks for the delightful tour. I have never heard of the Pineapple building in Scotland.. Nor had I heard of Quark or Halloumi. I learned a lot today in your video! LOL.. It looked like such a perfect stay, and with the National Trust garden I’d say it was perfect. Thank you for taking us along! Hoping you kept the midges at bay! ❤️Beverlee

What a delightful video.....Love Scotland. Oh, that flammkuchen looks very much like my grandfather used to make....Swiebelkuchen....or a type of onion pie with bacon, cream and butter on a flat bread crust.... Delicious! The estate looks lovely and your walk was interesting. Thank you for taking us along!

What a beautiful historic building in stunning Scotland on a summer day! You, Kirsten, with ur soft, calm voice and Joerg's enthusiastic spirit could make a war zone sound enchanting! A firm, white, salty cow cheese such as halloumi combined with the sweet-sour fruity taste of pineapple is a perfect combo. The earlier dish is like a German pizza! Thank u again for a wonderful tour! ❤

What an unusual set up for a building. The pineapple is so unusual. Thanks for showing us.
