You’ll love it! I’m English (Yorkshire) but only went to the Cotswolds for the first time three weeks ago. If you have time to visit a few villages, aim for Upper and Lower Slaughter (lovely half mile walk between the two), Castle Combe, Bourton on the Water, and my favourite: Stanton. The latter is an impossibly beautiful mix typical Cotswold cottages (with stone tile roofs) and thatched cottages. You’ll feel like you’re walking through a film set!

I’m from Yorkshire, I’d highly recommend the lakes district national park or the Yorkshire dales national park if you like hiking. : ) Everyone here loves the cotswolds so you can’t go wrong. London is a bit big so good luck there. Be sure to visit some of our castles and gardens. Hope you enjoy and support our locals : )

It’s beyond stunning, isn’t it? I‘ve only been once, very briefly, for work and couldn’t take it all in, so it’s lovely to watch in peace, like this. You‘re so right - that as an office! Such a beautiful vlog. I wish your videos would go on forever! Cotswolds is one of my favourite places. I’d love to take my American family on a ramble through all the quaint villages.. so storybook. I read somewhere that Bibury is England’s most beautiful village and Arlington row is the most photographed..seen it in many magazines and postcards.. I wonder who lives in those cute chocolate box cottages! Loved the farm shop.. your dress is so lovely too.. thank you for a great trip. God bless.

Thanks so much! Yes, William Morris said it was the most beautiful village, Arlington Row is wonderful but we think there are more beautiful villages to be found in the Cotswolds. The cottages belong to the National Trust and they are rented out (apart from the last one in the row which is a holiday cottage).
