Since you're doing all sorts of trials, "chemistry lessons", product reviews, and such on your personal channel now, I have a video request.... I have a client who loves dip nails. I personally struggle with it horribly because the resin/glue dries so quickly. I have been doing a little research tonight to see if it's possible to do dip nails using gel base/top coat and (regular) acrylic powder. I've found (very) few videos of it being done, but most are with actual dip powders. I'm planning to try out in myself with regular acrylic powder because I really don't want to buy a whole new product line for one customer... but I would absolutely love and appreciate your weighing in on the subject! I respect your opinion, honesty, and experience. You are genuinely the reason I got into doing nails in the first place! Much love, and thanks for reading this. 💜💜💜

Okay I’m just gonna be nosey (already dropped down and looked in the comments and no answer ) I love that Kirsty has her name on her own channel but is she still associated with Naio Nails. I power-watched about 50 of her videos, got burnt out on nails, watched a little true crime and when I came back there was a Kirsty Meakin channel 👏 Good luck either way Kirsty! You’re personality makes me laugh every time. And glad to hear Adam in the background too...y’all crack me up!

@@Dresseduptogo I find forms easier..I'm a learner though and was taught using forms..
@Dresseduptogo3 жыл бұрын
@@Alexandra_Hill ya, we had to learn both I like the tips better... Especially if I'm doing on my self Tips are easier for me. I always had trouble fitting the forms right. It took so long for them. But I guess it depends on what you were taught on. The school wanted us to use the tips when we were doing them on the clients when they came in. I admire those who use the forms!

@@Dresseduptogo me and tips = crooked nails...especially on my own hands, I have no idea why but it happens...
@Dresseduptogo3 жыл бұрын
@@Alexandra_Hill lol 🤣 yes I did have that issue for a bit.. but I figured it out by lining up the sidewalks with the tips. It will happen once in a while when I'm doing it. But very seldom it does happen. It took me awhile to get it. I understand that....☺️

Each time I touch with my brush white (or any intense colour) acrylic powder it immediately gets all clogged up. I tried with a wet/drier brush, I tried immediately and after it sets a bit, I tried with different parts of the brush, I tried different makes/brands of brushes and powders. It always ends the same. Sometimes I can put white bead and release without the brush getting clogged but then the moment I try to maneuver it, the brush is gone. I can't later clean it at all, neither with brush cleaner nor aceton, even if I do that almost immediately, the brush starts to look like a starfish (the bristles don't create a point anymore). I have no idea what I am doing wrong, I watched all the youtube films last year. And still no improvement. By the way, this never happens to me with clear, pink, or glitter powders. Just white and other intense colours. I am fed up.
