I love your videos and I’m sure they would help a lot, but I have no drawing skills to begin with. Do you think you could do a video showing how you draw from reference and how to sketch out the base lines of a nose, mouth, eye, and face? And maybe hair? Like just how you start. I love your videos so much, you are so talented!

I am brand-new to watercolor so forgive my ignorance. I ordered watercolor colored pencils (Faber-Castell) that are coming tomorrow. Is that the kind that you are referring to and Kirsty is referring to in the video? Or is it straight up Crayola colored pencils?

Hello Kirsty, your work is amazing, I love the watercolors and the tips that you give. Thank you very much. When I was watching your video I saw your colored pencil, I have the same ones, but I have a problem with them, I never sharpen the tip as it should, so that they have a very sharp point. In your video I saw that your colored pencil are very good sharpened. How you do that? What do you use? Can you help me, please?

@lucy52255 жыл бұрын
ive heard that using a hairdryer on the tape will make it lift easier, but I just use masking tape and pull it sideways so the tape is at like a 90 degree angle, rather than straight up or down
@lenseyeview5 жыл бұрын
If my washi is sticking I put it on my pants first to take down the tack it will still stick to the paper but won't be as difficult to remove.
@theredemu5 жыл бұрын
It works better if you peel it off at an angle. It's almost perpendicular to the paper when you pull it. Practice with a few scrap pages. They sell artist tape that looks like masking tape but is not as tacky. It works well. I still pull it at the angle though.

Hi from australia. I have looked up the masking fluid pen on line. I am confused about what l found. Various sellers say its a 2ml pen, others say its 4ml, others talk about it being a refillable version. Can you give me some further details thanks.
@theredemu5 жыл бұрын
The mm indicates the thickness of the tip just like how lead is .05mm or .07mm. The 2mm version will have thinner lines than the 4mm version if I'm not mistaken. The Molotow brand does say it is refillable and the nibs (tips of the pen) can be replaced. However, on Amazon US it doesn't get very good reviews. I haven't used it before. I use a liquid version. Hopefully this helps.

Gaia Della Torre I mean... tape is meant to be used. That’s what it’s for. It doesn’t matter what you use it on, you’re inevitably going to “waste” it anyway.

@@gothicMCRgirl yes, but at this point just try to save some money, it's stupid to use some pretty tape to get it in the garbage later on...
@geistropod58855 жыл бұрын
@@arch1trav368 Actually some washi tape is really cheap! Walmart has pretty affordable washi tape that works well as masking/painters tape, and infact I'd say because it's not as sticky it works better and doesn't rip your paper like some masking tapes do.
