Fireside by Karl R. Anderson about the historic Kirtland Temple
What an incredible honor it was to host this very special fireside at a historic building, about another profoundly historic building.

This is great to hear and know. Im humbled to be among the saints in the latterdays.. im humbled to know that Father and Heaven and the son Jesus Christ appeared multiple times to Joseph Smith.. i believe the gospel is restored and I know God lives and Jesus Christ is our Saviour..

About 8 years ago I had the privilege of being inside the Kirtland Temple, wondering to myself why it still stood, why it was still in the hands of the Community of Christ. Br. Anderson answered both my wonderings with this presentation. To now be able to tell "the rest of the story," rather more importantly to "show"where the full story of the organization of Christ's kingdom took place is a thrill and dare I say obligation for all. Is this the final key that needed to be turned on the other side of the veil to unlock the rest of the restoration? We better not stand idly by just watching or we may find no oil in our lamps. Bless you brother Anderson!

I am a convert from the catholic church. I knew the Lord’s Priesthood was needed & real. Was it handed down from Peter or was it broken off and needed to be restored? I always thought many Christians didn’t understand this detail of teachings of Jesus Christ. I was only 15 and my Catholic background helped Me to ask the right questions. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I was told the Holy Priesthood was restored through the prophet Joseph. My 4th great grandfather was Ovid Pinney one of the Pennsylvania bankers to back the Kirtland Safety Society. His signature is on the 10 dollar note. Very cool discovery! The Priesthood of Jesus Christ needed to be restored.

It’s so wonderful to see you on here, Karl, & I remember the fun moments we had time together in Kirtland and the classes/ firesides you gave. I’m so glad that you & Joyce are doing well in Utah. A great couple, the Clarks, from Burley, Idaho, shared some photos of you the other day. Wow! Love you!♥️🌺♥️🌺🎶🇺🇸Also, what a miracle for our church acquiring the Kirtland Temple! Many visitors asked us , while we were giving tours, “ when will our church get the temple back?” Of course, we didn’t know, but told them that it would be in the Lord’s due time, but hopefully soon. Little did we know that it would be so soon. I’m sure many other miracles and manifestations will yet occur. As we’ve been listening to our Prophet, President Nelson, we definitely have had miracles and blessings! As a convert, I’m so grateful to the Lord for His great love, comfort, peace, joy, & the restoration of the gospel!

Incredible! Why haven't we retold those stories throughout the church. I have been a member nearly all my life, and many of those stories I have never been taught. I didn't even know to look for them, because i didn't know they existed.

President Nelson has asked members to stop using “LDS Church” in reference to the restored Church of Jesus Christ. This request begins with its leaders. We all can do better in following the Prophets request.

I know the feeling but take yourself out of the picture/discomfort & pray to feel the same Spirit of love that the Father & our Savior are mercifully allowing those around you to enjoy. Pray for the power of discernment. It's truly a sign of grace, maturity, humility, love &, most often, the Holy Ghost. I hope this helps. 🙏❤😇 I love it! And love you also! 😊
