Amazing that today the Kirtland Temple is back in the Church's hands. I'm grateful for the revelations and progress that came from the Kirtland Temple.

Oh what lectures Truman Madsen gave! How close he must be to the Lord then and now! These are the treasures of knowledge we are so blessed to hear.

Truman delivers an amazing presentation of the most important building in our latter days to restore the saving ordinances! Jesus, Moses, Elias, and Elijah made it possible for our families to be sealed for time and all eternity!

LOVE is an active verb. It is critical in all of God's dealings with His children in all ages.

The Saints even crushed up their fine china to help with the mortar in the Temple walls. The women hand crocheted the table coverings.

28:10 git me choked me up because it reminds me of an experience I had with my 8 year-old whom my estranged wife won't permit to be baptized until he's 18, the age of legal consent. As he and I walked into the celestial room at a recent temple open house, he reached out and held my hand and wanted to linger there for awhile. Children know when they are in the presence of God.

More poignant having been a visitor at the Kirtland temple a couple of years ago. The spirit felt, the testimony of the truth of these reports, was easily felt there.

Hola Carlos. En este momento, no estamos ofreciendo los discursos en otros idiomas. Lo sentimos mucho, pero ahora no estamos capazes de hacer este trabajo tan grande. Esperamos que podamos tener traducciones en el futuro. Gracias por entender.

Minute 38:47 Does anyone know why Truman G Madsen does NOT mention the name of the Leading officer of the Kirtland Safety Society "Bank" which ended up issuing fraudulent notes and thus had a major impact on the collapsing of the bank? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure why but it was Warren Parrish

$50 notes were issued on the kirtland Safety Society but the people were buying the notes on credit, paying 26 cents per share. the remainder to be paid later. But nobody paid up. So like most banks in Ohio, it was under capitalized. E.G. the bank of cinncinatti was capitalized at about 1% and since banks on the frontier were undercapitalized, panics ensued all through the 1800's.

My understanding it is in other lectures and talks about the banking system. I have listen to some back don't remember much
