@@caedenclements3667 My guess is that it represents his way of grieving after everyone he knew and love died at the hands of organized crime. Haruka, Kazuma, Yumi. Nishiki, Rikiya. Yakuza 6 might be more like Kiryu living in his fantasy world where he could save Haruka or at least have Haruka wake up to a faithful husband. What actually happened was that the husband-to-be, Tastugawa, performed the hit and run on purpose and sped off. Haruka never recovered from start to finish. The inhumanity of it all screwed with Kiryu so much, he actually nearly killed someone (and almost breaking his policy/record) and straight up dissociated from reality. It's likely that Kiryu was thinking he hit Iwami, his representation of a cruel Kamurocho, what it has done to him and his loved ones.

Let's explain what happened The first guy managed to leave the helicopter as it got hit by the rocket and landed safely outside the explosion The second guy was thrown out of the chopper as it hit the wall away from the explosion, saving his life The third guy, he uhhh, he uhhhhh Anyway, the Kiryu called the ambulance right before stabbing the guy, so that they could save him and put his lost blood back The last three guys never happened
