Surprised the Rick and Morty crowd hasn’t found this version yet. This may be my favorite.

I am a Rick and Morty fan, and found this song in it, but I don't like this song beeing famous for Rick and Morty, its WAY to good for that xD
@PgLangGang3 жыл бұрын
@@dino8008 I do understand the feeling of that. But you have to appreciate the fact that the people behind the scenes knew of this song and gave it a platform to shine on. Also a lot of people who would have heard this on its own and may not have appreciated it for the great music it is, put it together with a beautiful scene(at least to me) and now it’s amazing to them. Rick and Morty is a great show and I hate that people want to try and down it. Like how Kanye samples a lot of music and yeah he’s an ass, but hella talented and showed music that hardly anyone would be exposed to. Appreciate it for what it is.

Nothing is as evil and hated as the antichrist. In this song, he has fallen out of favor with the person he loves. It's as if he's the antichrist, because she hates him so, and has abandoned him to fall.

Christian symbolism aside, this comports to lyrics that have a profound understanding of the human condition that most conflict arises from love and the most opposed conflicts most definitely arise from love and differing views of what that means. And that despite these conflicts and despite who wins, in the end they encompass us; when we fall, we fall into their arms. It is inescapable and beautiful and sad and uncomfortable all at the same time, as the tone and words of this song imply.

This man knows himself as Christ, as he should, as you should, but you can not accept him as Christ because you think he is a spirit always coming but never arriving. So he confesses himself as antichrist, so you can satisfy the never ending scriptures. For the scripture says first the antichrist must appear, yet you will only accept a fearful Satan antichrist. And then, even if you would accept this mans sacrifice for the love of you, many of you require a 'rapture' even. Always a reason , always and excuse. The truth is, that you will not accept, is that you are 'The Christ', his resurrection on the third day. God Bless you Kishi Bashi, my Christ, as I am , you are, peace be with us as as we awaiting the dawning in them.
@Tullece8 жыл бұрын
It seems religion has taught many to look for a sole embodiment of Christ, so they look everywhere fruitlessly for signs, when and if they find someone aligned they heap all responsibility onto that single being or they are met with severe mockery as if they had spewed rivers of blaspheme. "You're the king/queen/leader, you'll get it done for sure." They proclaim, without lifting a finger. One after another our leaders disappear, for they are faced with such a monumental task. It is simply too much responsibility for one, or two or twenty. They fail to realize that if you are looking for 'Christ', one can simply peer into the mirror. Christ consciousness dwells within us all. Together, there is nothing we can't achieve; The Collective Conciousness. Don't lose yourself amongst the smoke and mirrors set up by the deceiving one who only seeks to lead you away from our innate power and to place a wedge firmly between all of us. They seek to divide and conquer, we seek to harmonise and enrich. How do I know which is the right way? Let your heart be your lighthouse, you'll find your way, for it shall point the way through the fog. Let your light shine brightly and do not be discouraged by hate, learn to realise that is not a reflection upon you but a reflection of the one spouting it. It comes from a place of suffering/jealousy/fear. They are caught in a vortex of suffering, looking to unload some of their unbearable burdens onto something else momentarily, failing to realise they are fated to repeat their spiral of fear. Let their sorrow appeal to your compassionate side and use it as fuel and motivation. Do not be discouraged to show weakness and vulnerability. It takes true strength of character and courageousness to show it to others, crying is not a form of weakness but a spiritual purging/purifying. To withhold it causes one to become bitter and emotionless, husks of their former selves. Why is it true strength? Because it is the *hardest* thing to do. The most difficult things require true strength. The easiest do not. The easiest are a band-aid solution and entail things such as drinking away ones sorrows, spouting hate and envy at another instead of dealing with their inner turmoil, shirking off responsibility. Unfortunately we are brought up that showing vulnerability is a weakness, when in fact not being able to express oneself truly and openly is the greatest weakness. True strength is not superficial, it comes from within. Peace be with all of you as we sail through these turbulent times to inevitably arrive at our fate. ❤ So joyed to have found the music of Kishi Bashi.
