How one man can make so many sweet melodies in a single song, I don't know. We're gonna have to add Kishi Bashi as the eighth wonder of the world. Incredible performance.

And I'd like to visit this 8th world 🌍 wonder. (I've never even been to the other 7, but I second 🥈 this notion!)
@bethanyyrosee8 жыл бұрын
Kishi Bashi is, to me, one of the most beautiful composers and songwriters of this generation. The meanings of all of his songs and the compositions behind them are so in depth and this is just absolute perfection. Definitely the most underrated artist now.

He'll actually be in Iowa City for a festival on April 9th. The festival passes are sold out but you can still buy a ticket to his show. If you wanna know more just go to Kishi's website and look at his shows.

Just once in a while you see something so mesmerising, so complete, so beautiful, it almost resets your mind. To say Kissi Bashi is talented an understatement, a genius is closer but even that is so often used it pales. Suffice to say having seen him and listened to all his work, he is someone I'll definitely be revisiting and seeing again and again.

I could spend all the rest of my days doing nothing but good deeds, charity, helping people. And I will never, ever, match the absolute beauty of what this is, and what it gives to the human race. Simultaneously beautiful and mournful; this is a piece of true art. If I am ever blessed with the choice of what to show other civilizations an example of what humanity is, this exact video and song would be right at the top of the list. Humanity is about people coming together to move forward, but at the same time, our individuality is what helped us innovate and lead. What better to encapsulate thst than this absolute fucking genius using light, music, and voice to showcase human emotion? And our emotion is, for better or worse, what has brought us together, and pushed us apart. Thanks man, if you ever see this. Thank you for making this song. You have actively made my life better by having created this. And to all the rest. I hope you’re doing alright and seeing the light on the horizon. The streets are warm today.
