Kishore da was already singing for dev anand, guide, jewel thief etc.. plus Kishore Kumar started singing for many heroes post aradhara (Rajesh) and most of those songs were hugely popular.. he sang many songs for jeetendra, dharmendra, shashi Kapoor and continued for Dev anand post aradhana.. so Rajesh Khanna benefited more from Kishore da's voice rather than Kishore benefiting from rajesh

अगर किसी को वहम है की अमिताभ बच्चन किशोर कुमार के कारण सफल हुए तो अतिशीघ्र इसे निकाल दे। अमिताभ विशुद्ध रूप से action हीरो थे और उनके फिल्मो में संगीत का कोई महत्व नहीं था। जंज़ीर, दीवार शोले जैसी सुपर हिट फिल्मो मे वे कोई गीत गाये ही नहीं। कुछ में गाये भी तो वे गाने महत्व हीन हैं। वैसे भी उनका दौर आते आते संगीत का स्तर गिर गया था। पंचम ने गीत के माधुर्य के जगह शोर शराबा भर दिया था। उनके महान पिता भी पंचम के संगीत से खुश नहीं थे। मजरूह सुल्तान पुरी (दोनों बर्मन के common friend) के अनुसार बर्मन दादा हमेशा उनसे कहा करते थे की पंचम से कहो की गीत के मेलोडी पर ध्यान दे। उसका संगीत ज़रूरत से ज्यादा westernise हो रहा है। पंचम को इसका परिणाम जीते जी भुगतना पड़ा। बाद में वे फिल्मो के लिए तरसते रहे।

दूसरा किस्सा। फिल्म तूफ़ान में प्यार कहाँ। निर्माता फिर से अशोक कुमार हीरो भी वही थे।।गाना इतनी बड़ी दुनिया ।। U TUBE पर हैं।। दादा मुनी ने संगीतकार चित्रगुप्त से कहा इसे किशोर से रिकॉर्ड करवा ले। चित्रगुप्त ने न चाहते हुए भी किशोर कुमार से रिकॉर्ड करवा ली। जब दादा मुनी ने सुना तो बिल्कुल पसंद नहीं आया और से फिर से रफी साब से गवाने को कहा। चित्रगुप्त ने रफी साब से इस बात की जिक्र किये बिना रिकॉर्डिंग करवा लिया। जब फिल्म आयी तो रफी साब की आवाज़ देखकर किशोर रफी साब और अपने भाई पर गुस्सा हो गए। रफी साब तक बात पहुची तो वे बोले मुझे इस बात की जानकारी नहीं थी की आप पहले गा चुके हैं वरना मैं नहीं गाता। मुझसे धोखे मे गवा लिया गया हैं। कुल मिलाकर दादा मुनी को भी उनके गायन पर भरोसा न था।
