Kisii DG Robert Monda lost his job over ksh800,000 bribe

An 800,000 shillings bribe from a man seeking a job at the Gusii Water and Sanitation company has sent Kisii Deputy Governor Robert Monda home. Senators in a landmark decision at the climax of the impeachment proceedings said the deputy governor of Kisii went against the tenets of the 2010 constitution and resorted to abusing his office by extortion and taking advantage of the less fortunate.

Now this job was posted in Public Service Commission site late last year, GEO MANAGEMENT INFORMATION Officer (Kenya Power), I had applied for the position and half of my classmates as well. The position advertised had only one vacancy to be filled. I did not get shortlisted neither did any of my classmates. Fast forward we now know the position was created to accommodate the son of a former prominent politician (Gedion Konchela) whom at that time was an attachee at Kenya Power. This country is rotten
