@@itsmeyourverybestpotato5935 I've worked with greyhounds, my family friends have worked with greyhounds, the industry itself has less abuse than normal " pet " dog owners. I'll put it as such, every breed of dog that exists today exists only because they were bred to serve a purpose. Poodles are hunters and retrievers, Labradors are too, golden retrievers are also, German shepherds are livestock guardians and or herding dogs, so are corgis. EVERY dog except mutts have a purpose. (This includes doodle man pinschers and doodles; those are not bred for a purpose.) Every domesticated animal once, or still does serve a purpose, so we are infact going to use these animals for what they are bred to do, yes, the industry has its flaws, but same can be said with any industry, abuse in the workplace, abuse on fauna, it should not matter, and these things are inevitable because there will ALWAYS be a way to hide it. Reminds me a lot of the stories of Spirit and Black Beauty….really reminds you that animals have hopes and needs as well. Entire lives we are not privy to…many just want to be in nature and breathe the fresh air. As humans we often make that impossible. I also liked how you made the city animals judge him for his illness….we humans do that a lot too. Make people seem useless for being alive when none of us asked to be here and being alive should be enough. Great job to those who created this, you gave me so much to think about 💜

So I can’t tell but if your saying equestrian is abuse if you think deeper than if they were born in a stable and grew up in a stable they would not be able to survive in the wild because they don’t know how to fight find water and they grew up eating grain and other herbs so they wouldn’t know what to do but I do know a lot of horses are abused for things they shouldn’t be like people who are riding a small horse but being a big person, forcefully making horses do things they don’t want to, making them jump thing that are to high and other things I don’t support animal cruelty and hope the best for the animals who are abuse but I was just letting you know.

Only certain unregulated areas of the racing industry is bad, just like any discipline. Most of the shipping to slaughter and whatnot happens after the horses have been retired and sold to new owners who have nothing to do with racing. There are plenty of loving horse owners in the racing industry and there’s absolutely some bad ones, but please do not generalize the entirety of the community.

Only certain areas of the industry are bad, such as bob Baffert and his heartless self. The entire sport couldn't be made up just for the money, considering there really isn't anything in the industry that'll gain you much money. You have to be PERFECTION, same with the jockey and the horse. The industry is certainly growing and most definitely is catching up on abuse. It is infact however, against the JAOV and the JCOV, Aswell as the JAOSA and JCOSA. Just a few weeks ago a jockey was fined and suspended for whipping in the wrong place. Same with Michelle Payne, she was suspended for 20 meets for putting all of the horses lives in danger, aswell as the jockeys. This video does not at ALL represent any of the industry and is all false. This is coming from someone who has worked with racing greyhounds, pacers, trotters, and still works with racers, I also have worked with eventers, and needless to say eventers go through more pain and have more abuse in the industry than racing, and that goes for any type.

@ashlynfergusson87052 жыл бұрын
Factually, no horse could survive in the wild as a domesticated animal. Also, no, that is wrong. It is so rare a horse will get abused in the industry, an abused or stressed horse cannot perform, will start losing weight, and clumps of hair, which will be noticed and most likely given a suspension or complete ban. If you ever go to a race, or watch it, you can notice all of the horses have shiny coats and muscular bodies, shiny coats are a form of a healthy horse, even when they haven't been washed.
