I don't know about you Peter, but I always named my mix tapes .... This right here is absolutely "KISS The Essentials"! Quite a few of those aren't personal favorites but there's no denying each is essential in Kisstory! Enjoy the show - Always a spectacle!

Great list Peter. Hard to mess this exercise up though ;^) My list is a killer mix tape too! I hit on mostly the heavier, grittier side of Kiss' early material but, I like it all for the most part. Black Diamond~Kiss Watchn' You~Hotter Than Hell Come On and Love Me~Dressed to Kill God of Thunder~Destroyer (that riff!) I Want You~Rock And Roll Over Shock Me~Love Gun All-American Man~Alive II (studio side 4) Move On~'78 Solo albums (Paul's album is my favorite but Ace's is close) Nowhere to Run~Killers (import here in the states that had some unreleased tracks) Sure Know Something~Dynasty

I've never been much of a KISS fan, though I do own three albums. But I've always felt there was something there that I was just missing or it just wasn't hitting me. But I'm a big "mixed tape" kind of guy, and I really enjoyed listening to you commentary on the albums and the songs, and I liked your selection of songs. Well done!

@@RockDaydreamNation I don’t dislike them. I’ll watch interviews and documentaries. I think I find the members and their performance aspect more interesting than the songs.

Hope you enjoy Kiss Peter, I went to Melbourne to see Ghost instead and they were great! Your choices are mostly obvious Peter, but that just shows how they stand the test of time and how great those songs still are. I went for the lesser known Deep cuts Kiss - Let Me Know Hotter Than Hell - Strange Ways Dressed to Kill - Love Her All I Can Alive - Let Me Go Rock and Roll (blows the studio version out of the water imo) Destroyer - Flaming Youth Rock And Roll Over - Love 'Em Leave 'Em Love Gun - Got Love For Sale Alive II - Rocket Ride Double Platinum - Strutter 78 Ace - I'm In Need Of Love Paul - Take Me Away (Together As One) Gene - Nowhere To Hide Peter - I Can't Stop The Rain Dynasty - Magic Touch

My mixtape picks for best song on each 70's album. Kiss - Cold Gin Hotter Than Hell - Parasite Dressed To Kill - C'mon And Love Me (My all time favourite kiss song and my funeral song) Destroyer - Detroit Rock City Rock And Roll Over - Baby Driver Love Gun - Almost Human Dynasty - Charisma Also noticed a slight mistake Ace wrote Shock Me not Paul. I flew up from Melbourne to Sydney to see em one last time even tho I did Vip last year, was top shelf as always and makin' love was a nice surprise in the set.

This was a lot of fun. Love all your choices. Here’s mine. I’ve cheated by including the Alive albums, but had to as I prefer these versions of the songs rather than the studio versions. I’ve also included the solo albums - they do say Kiss on them after all.
