Some people are purists and want the original lineup no matter what, they were my first concert at age 13, and there's no denying they had a certain energy, but ive seen all the KISS drummers live and I'm a drummer of 38 years playing and there's just no way around it, BOTH the Eric's are better drummers than Peter.

@TCB141 I'll agree with you here - but only because Ace REALLY needed to be replaced. Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr were - in my opinion- the only truly worthy replacement members. Could be worse - Eddie Van Halen could have been accepted into the band. I have to add this: Paul Stanley is the greatest American rock and roll singer in history. Absolutely brilliant.

No es la versión de Alive 3 amigos de hecho esta versión y concierto serian la que utilizarian para hacer el Kiss Alive 3. Este concierto fue en 1992 y el Kiss Alive 3 saldria en 1993. Para el año 1994 lanzarian un DvD documental donde se utilizaron las imagenes de este concierto con las versiones de Alive 3 para el apartado Confidential

Excellent Drummer... The band had some Groove back then, now they are shit in face paint. Don't get me wrong, I have been a fan since 1976, they were great in the 70's. 2 good albums in the 80's (creatures and The elder)... the rest of the 80's was just Painfull to watch (and listen to). Then they released Revenge and Alive 3, they were back to good old rock n roll. Since the 1996 re unions and the farcical clown shows, they have lost me forever...

Eric Carr/Singer/Koolick>Paul/Ace>St John>everyone else>Gene. not in terms of Musicianship but in terms of doosh-bag-ship. Gene being the Head hauncho doosh of them all. 80's early 90's kiss easily the best. creatures to hot in the shade exculeding lick it (it was just ok) up best albums.

Gene is not really even playing. Notice how every time he takes his hands off the bass, you can still hear bass being played. That's disappointing. He didn't actually play this song on the album. They had a session musician do it instead. Maybe it was too difficult for him.

+Liam Caffety I get what your saying but IMO Gene is playing bass. What we didn't know about KISS ALIVE 1 & 2 (being that it was edited & re-recorded) back in the day, its pretty common that for a live album the artists do go back in the studio & fix things up. Led Zeppelin did the same with 'Celebration Day'. Van Halen's 2015 live album Tokyo LIVE is completely live with no edits or overdubs. Thought they go criticised for it, its still a great live album that grows on you with every listen. Respects to VH for doing that. But as far as people criticising KISS for fixing & re-editing their live albums, all I say to these naive people is if you can jump, run & move for the entire show without hitting a wrong note then you're a great mimed artist. KISS has always been about the show & performance. Besides the mistakes they make on stage are no way as worse than these fake artists that perform to a backing track, I laugh when the backing track fails & they're left there wandering!

You'd have to be from another planet to believe Peter Criss was ever a better drummer than Eric Singer. I am a Peter Criss fan through and through, but both Eric Carr and Eric Singer absolutely mop the floor with Peter Criss.
