I do agree with you that KISS is the greatest band who has ever graced a stage. You know, I first got into kiss 3rd or 4th grade I think that. So this is like 1977? And they were like Mythic creatures come to life part pro-wrestling, part superhero. And catchy as hell songs to go with it. People would slag them in the press for not coming across as serious musicians but if you look at the meat and potatoes of a kiss show... There is a really good freaking band there at its core. They can all saying, they can all play their material consistently in top form while running around like a bunch of aliens from another world... there is just a ton of Talent on that stage. Sure they are not rush or some band of Prague Giants who are wonderful and entertaining for entirely different reasons... But on a goodnight kiss are one of the greatest rock and roll bands in the world. Plain and simple.

In January of 76, when Alive was recorded, Let Me Go, Rock N Roll was the finale before Rock N Roll All Night became the popular beast. Give that video clip a 2nd look. It ends with Gene Simmons on stage by himself with a confetti shower and blue and red flood lights shining on him while Peter Criss is pounding away on the drums in the background. Very simple but very effective.😮😮😮😮

There used to be a tribute band that dressed up exactly like them and put on a stage show. The catch was they were four midgets. They called themselves “Mini Kiss”. They have a few videos on KZbin. They appeared in a Super Bowl commercial with the real KISS group.

Greatest concert of my life! I was 12th row on the floor. I remember that story. People didn’t recognize them. I actually got to the show late so I missed the opening act which I didn’t really care about. As I was walking in with my buddy there were a couple of kids walking out in their 20s probably saying I can’t believe smashing pumpkins only play for 45 minutes. They left before the real show. Stupid morons! It’s actually sad now that the quality has gone downhill so much even though they still put on a good show comparatively to other bands.

I went to go see KISS reunion tour in 1996. This was in the middle of the grunge hey day and a lot of stuff KISS did was no longer deemed cool. . Opened with duece, at the end of the song they do this choreographed move and the crowd went crazy. It was like KISS was saying, I know you guys don't think this is cool anymore, but we think it's cool, so it's cool.

that story is BS. any true kiss fan that grew up with them there entire life knows better. also I have to think most people watching these vids are like me. older and watch for the satisfaction of your reactions. I would suggest doing some homework on a band like this, because a lot of your comments are head scratching. lastly, every video has over two and a half minutes of hawking merchandise in it. cut that down to 30 seconds, please!

Always felt this song to be superior to "Rock 'n' Roll All Nite"; That said, this wasn't even the best available rendition of the tune, as by this point, Peter's drumming had diminished to the point that, according to Paul Stanley, they had Peter's drum triggers cranked, just to make his sound audible, as he was playing with too light of a touch. That also translated to his drum fills, which he either over-simplified or completely neglected, altogether. While the best audio rendition comes from "KISS: 'ALIVE!"", their best concert presentation would come from concerts between '75-'76.
