I don't think a lot of you realize how KISS was receaved in the 70's . They were basically blacklisted by the radio station . You never heard their music on the radio like other groups . Their fame was from word of mouth and touring . I don't blame them for merchandising the way they do . It's a middle finger in the face to all the blacklisting they got in the 70's during their heyday .

When GS is in a good mood (and not to bored or to full of himself or whatever) and has his (more humble) glimmer twin beside him, things go smoothly, and we hear the words of a human being and not a cartoon character. There's definitive tension between the two, but it's no big deal ... they're just like an old married couple ... hell, they're almost cute ...

I was in to KISS when i was young and ventured on to other music after Dynasty but in my later years i have looked back and realized for me there is only one album i still listen to on a regular rotation and that is Dressed to Kill. Great songs and it really sounds better than any other record with out being over productive. Great record.

I find it interesting that this interview occurred in 2005/2006. So, obviously Tommy and Eric were already in Peter and Ace's makeup and performing with the band at this point. I realize that perhaps it wasn't the correct time and place to bring it up, but Eddie always says he's had a problem with Eric and Tommy in Peter's and Ace's makeup, but he seems completely cool with Gene and Paul here and even made the comment toward the end of the video (around 44:40) that "Kiss is an amazing story and Kiss is still continuing today and that's what's so beautiful about it." Hmmmmmm......

Eddie was/is an employee of VH1. Either he does the job and earns the paycheck, or they find someone else to do it.
