I agree with what you wrote Garegh62. She's has been won over my Paul Stanley's charm. Paul Stanley's spends two-third's of his book rebutting Peter Criss. Lydia Criss at the end of 2016 said that the only member who told the truth was Ace Frehley. This speaks volumes.

No matter what you say Paul Stanley is his own man. He gives you his honest take on his opinion and he does not care what anyone thinks he is who he is like it or not here is what I think. If you do not want to know shut up and do not ask. But don’t hate just because you do not like the answer, you asked. But from Paul’s view point this is what happened or what he thinks do not get bad because his favorite color is blue and yours is Red. We are all different and that is what makes us so awesome. Thanks for being True to your self and who you are. Glad you found what you were searching for your whole life your wife and kids. Once again ut comes back to family. That is the most important thing!

I have come to appreciate song he has written as I, over the year, would experience times and could then really relate to the message he was trying to get across. The number one thing they did was we shared time with listening to KISS and using our First Act guitars, And KISS gave us hope! As my mother said we didn’t have friends but we had KISS!!! 9-10 years later we’ve been to 16 KISS concerts and also saw Paul Stanley on his “Live To Win “ tour twice!!!! I was so scary because you never know how some who’s a rockstar/celebrity would react! BUT! The kind and deeps words will live with me until the end!!! I wish I had it on tape but I was in line to get a picture with him and his security kept telling him “We has to go”

The KISS legacy is the show itself - and the commitment to the fans as Paul says here. As a young teen in 77, I remember wanting desperately to see them live. I had just purchased Alive II, and while the antics and fire breathing were only images on the album cover, I felt I was there. As I got older, I was embarrassed to admit that I liked KISS, and started listening to more 'serious' bands like Van Halen or AC/DC. But years later, I got the chance to see KISS live, and the show was everything I hoped for as a kid - in fact it was so nostalgic it brought a tear to my eye - thanks Paul and Gene, and Ace and Peter too, for all that you have done for rock.

I really enjoyed this interview. Mr Stanley is elegant, witty, intelligent and articulate. Overcoming a physical difference that no doubt caused him all sorts of mockery and bullying, (packs of kids can be brutally horrible), to find his way through that and come out winning, with no sense of self pity and victimhood, is really admirable and unusual is this age of constant self pity. Kudos to you Mr Stanley, and whiny youth of the day, note this man's grit and tenacity.

I saw "Kiss" at Nassau Coliseum back in 1979. On the cusp of the 80's just hearing the incredible "Rappers Delight". My first concert could've been "The Jacksons". Instead it was this great Band "Kiss". I loved the concert. I loved the music. I loved the theatre aspect of it all. They influenced my brand of Entertainment for years. I look back and see why I did some of the things I did. I have no regrets. The LIfe isn't perfect. But, its the choices you make and how you deal with those choices is what makes or breaks you. The Rolling Stones magazine were responsible for a lot of the racial divide in music. Rock N Roll versus Soul Music. It's all Soul Music. That's what the kids are telling us today. It's all greatness. Kiss is a great American Rock N Roll Band.

Mr son was born with a cleft lip and palate and had to have 23 surgeries to fix everything! My husband and I made sure that he had enough confidence building opportunities so he wouldn’t feel “less than”. He is now a pilot for Delta Airlines, has a super great wife and they are looking at having kids someday. What you said about facial deformities rings true. We did exactly what you decribed …we didn’t allow him to play the victim but acknowledged that he had issues to overcome. He also had a strong faith in God which helped him get through all the surgeries!

Wow... what a wonderful interview and I've only seen the first 26 minutes of it so far. Forget the celebrity talk... my daughter was born with a cleft palette and even with the best medical treatment here in the United States (better than anywhere else) the slight line gets noticed sometimes and all the ordinary, shallow, self-absorbed, people with low self esteem will notice. I loved Paul's statement on critics being bitings insects that you swat or ignore. The thing that struck a chord with me is the graceful angelic attitude towards the crappy Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We see bands like U2 and Nirvana (no disrespect to these bands) get inducted a day after their 25 years in music while a powerhouse band like Deep Purple get into that "exclusive" septic tank almost 25 years after they have earned the right to be there by people who have never played music or formed a band. kiss was the first example that really came to light how the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is now the money worshiping, soul bankrupt, entity that values pop of the moment over real talent in music which is called now the Jan Werner hall of shame. If I misspelled his name... so what and fuck him... punk, creativity, talent, and being "different" like my daughter, Chloe, has no place in that sham of normal, wearing their souls on their faces/money, and talentless fizzy doo-sh bags called the Rock in Roll hall of Shame. Real Rock lives without your dead zombie notice. Do us a favor and be a walker on the Walking Dead that Daryl puts an aroow in your head. `nuff said... High Five to Fur... Kiss and all their members rule in the hearts who love them. Amen

I have autism and during my grade 8 year, I was bullied every day just for having autism and I have a string in my hands all the time that I flick around. My teachers did nothing to help me so I was alone, scared, and sad all the time. I used to be confident and strong up until my grade 8 year because after grade 7 I moved away and I was alone throughout the entire year. But Kiss helped me get through that year and I even found Turn On The Night which became my favourite kiss song. The song A Million To One became my ranting song at the teachers and students at my old school. Eventually I bought Paul’s book on my phone and I relate with him in so many ways. We both were born with something that made us different from the others like with his microtia and my autism and we both were bullied for it. We both had doubt problems but we managed to solve them through helping others and revealing our past. I’m in a better school now and I don’t have my self doubt problems anymore and I’m a lot more confident than who I used to be. Paul is still an inspiration for me to this day and I’m in a group called Show Choir and I’m performing on big shows and I want to become a rockstar when I’m older and it’s all thanks to this amazing rockstar!
