When my father died I was young. 10 years old. Only thing I had to remember him was kiss. It was his favorite band. He played kiss all the time. Rite before he died he gave me my first cd. Love gun by kiss. The I memorized everyword to that album to find messages from him. The only message I found was that as long as I had good rock n roll playing id never forget him. And then I found the song Forever off hot in the shade. And it was the first song I played to my first love. Not only did I get the girl. My father helped me score lol. I love kiss.

But you have to also remember the time that this album came out the music was changing I think if it came out at another time. My son and I are HUGE KISS fans. I named him after Eric Carr; his name is Carr. I lost him to a horrific car crash last Thursday, October 12, 2023. His birthday was Monday, October 16. He is 30 now. When I brought him home from the hospital when he was born, I played this song for him. I reached over and placed my finger between his little hand, and he gripped on so tightly. And this part played at that very moment. But every time I look at you No matter what I'm goin' through It's easy to see And every time I hold you The things I never told you Seem to come easily 'Cause you're everything to me I am adding this to the Thing the church has set up for him. His funeral is on Friday, October 20. I can never say goodbye to him; I will just tell him I will see him later like I have done all these years. Always tell the people in your life that you love them and how much having them with you means to you. Take Care everyone. Wayne Barron

We can blame MTV for pushing Grunge for that.
@bendybananakick8 жыл бұрын

@RowdyRodimus8 жыл бұрын
Neil Crump I still remember the day MTV first played Nirvana. Every MTV News update was talking about the "new sound" coming from Seattle and how it was taking over the music landscape (even though nobody had heard of those bands and they had only released basically homemade tapes that nobody had). They talked about how it was killing off the bands from the 80's every half hour. They were building grunge up as superior and the sheep in the audience figured "If Kurt Loder says they are the biggest band in the world, they must be!" then they played the video and suddenly 95% of the teens in America suddenly knew everything about grunge and how they had been listening to it for years,. Who needed big huge bands that wrote good songs, played their instruments well and sounded like they deserved a record deal? Now we could listen to bands play one or two chords that looked like every teenager in their parents garage starting a band. Better yet, these new bands didn't do it for money, no they did it to express themselves. Basically, the record companies found these bands, signed them for pennies on the dollar and had MTV shill them to the audiences as the next big thing so the record companies and Viacom could make a fortune easier. Why pay Motley Crue or KISS millions to sell millions of albums when you can pay Nirvana literally thousands of dollars to do an album for $75 and a dime bag in their grandma's basement?
@tarasutherland86888 жыл бұрын
And now I proudly say Nirvana and Kurt kicks ass compared to all the shit on the airwaves today. But love Kiss but they always been on top and had strong fanbase no matter if MTV put them on the air or not.

What do you think they stand for? They seem very vacuous to me.

This was a badass look for them in the 90s! They looked like an actual hard rock band during this unmasked period for the 1st time. They went heavy and dark instead glammy colors and stopped wearing anything remotley like an "outfit" or costume even though they had a custom look. Solid comeback album with Revenge🤘Still stands as the last all killer no filler album they recorded.

Truly an underated song by KISS. If they came out with this song 5 to 10 years earlier it would have been a top 10 hit.
