Actually, this song was recorded in 1989, when Eric was still healthy. Eric Carr was diagnosed with heart cancer in 1991. You can see a video clip of Eric Carr in the hospital right after he had heart surgery in 1991 on KISS Kissology Vol. 2. Eric's final performance with KISS was on the video for "God Gave Rock and Roll to You 2".

How old are you? Are you familiar with the creations KISS made in the 70's & early 80's? The Animalize concert was my 1st ever @ 12 years old, and as that had some awesome tunes they had already started the transformation into this, which is fundamentally in contrast to that era's masterpiece magic they created. My favorite parts of this video are when you can tell Gene is looking over at Eric and smiling, for whatever reason... Gene didn't have many close friends in his life, at least that's what I've gathered. But you can tell he adored the shit out of Eric... they all did. He was an amazing drummer and an amazing person, from what I've read.

The late Eric Carr. RIP. You probably couldn't tell right away, but the poor man was very sick and dying and he still insisted on being in the video and putting ahead the band and the fans over his own health. Even in his final days , Eric was brave, always had a smile and a joke and remained positive. He and Bruce both went beyond the call of duty to give kiss the much needed stability and drive to get through the 80s. He and bruce deserved a RnRHOF induction
