hi all! sorry this is uploaded a few days late. if you missed my community post, my hard drive with all my youtube uploads on there got corrupted and i lost all the files D: luckily i've been able to download the patreon versions but i've been having to re-edit them to comply with youtube copyright standards (that's why it's edited a bit differently) but, next week ill be posting regularly on tuesday and thursday again! unfortunately they'll be rewatch/analysis reactions because i lost my original reaction files for ep4 and ep5, but i hope you can all understand. starting episode 6 though, they will be first-time reactions again. a company is currently working on getting all my videos back so hopefully i'll eventually be able to share my original reactions to ep4 and ep5 in a few weeks. hope u can all understand and thanks for watching

I know the overlay is necessary, but the chosen image might have been too aggressive especially since the elements are practically the same as the show's palette and visuals. It's a bit difficult to follow along.

Yes they're creating content for us but they're just individuals with a limited budget and I know there's people who will still go 'well you should've known better!' in the comments and it annoys tf out of me. Doing nothing - no that's wrong - having stuff like this happen is understandable and we should be accepting of life not being perfect

11:47 right at this moment, if you hear closely you can hear the bass notes when Kita-san counts the strings. A small details that they put to this scene to show us that she got it really wrong lol.

Something that I didn’t even think about when I first watched this is how Kita knows who Bocchi is. Maybe it’s not that big a thing but I think it’s cute especially since in the first episode we know from the nickname scene that growing up a lot of people didn’t remember her name

I love the sound design, in the part when Bocchi and Kita are playing the guitar, you can hear on the headphones, on one side bocchi's guitar and in the other, Kita's guitar.

this show reminded me of high school a lot. picked up bass playing in middle school and found a weird (awesome) group of dudes to jam with. good times. never got to play shows but we did record stuff. this show hits in the nostolgia

Not me crying everything again hahaha SOBS I love this anime so much, and Kita is my fave ;;; tho up until episode 11 my faves were Ryo and another bassist you'll meet soon bc I'm weak for bassists, all of a sudden in episode 12 I realized I'd been enchanted by the kit-aura sjdksjdksjkdj anywayssssssssssss I love how Bocchi takes little steps each episode, this anime makes me super happy and I'm glad I get to rewatch it with you

Been holding off watching these until I'd seen the show. Glad to be on board for such a great season. Not anime of the year for me, but I'm so happy for Cloverworks who did an incredible job and had an all-round amazing year. Seriously underrated studio at a time when a lot of "fans" can't see much past Mappa or WIT.

to be fair cloverworks can be hit or miss. when they hit , THEY HIT! and lots of shows at the bare minimum LOOK good. but it will always hurt us when they ruined season 2 promised neverland and wonderegg priority(which had such a downfall near the end).

@@Timotarius_ Every studio has misses, I'll never criticise them for that. For the most part I think their choice of projects and production is up there with the very best. As you say they always strive for quality and when it works it works beautifully. I'm not sure what happened with Promised Neverland, who made what decisions and why. I do know that with Wonderegg Priority they struggled with the schedule in a huge way, and for me aspects of the writing could've been much better too, but when a director ends up hospitalised for exhaustion I'm inclined to give them some slack. Hopefully they were two examples of production gone wrong that they'll take to heart and avoid in the future.
