I Built The Original 65 AWB Chevelle It Was A Double Kit With I Think A 63 Chevy Impala SS HT And It Came With A Trailer To Tow It. That Was A Long Time Ago. Good To See It Come Back As A Single Kit. Also Nice Box Art.[ I,m Going To Build A Time Machine So I Can Go Back An Make The Scene In My Little Old Time Machine.]

Looks like a cool kit. It's on my "to acquire" list. I'm praying for Steve. I've been following his fight as info is available. I have a 1/64 scale diecast Wilshire Shaker like he owned. Cool build concept for Steve.

I've had 2 of these (and the new 65 Dodge AFX) on pre-order and can't wait for them to come in! Definitely think the Steve Mags style would be cool! Nice work on the Ford, I don't think I've ever realized that trick with the front fenders but I'm sure thats why some of them I like and the majority I think the front looks heavy and droopy. It's definitely a help to the front end! 👍

I'm not in the group build but i have one of those 55 trucks I'm playing around with and i be thinking about moving the front wheel opening forward, Does the inner grill peace interfere, how difficult is it to move, and how much did move it, i was thinking 1/8 ? I was also thinking about using the bed from the 53 because its shorter, like the old willys gasser the width is pretty close, but i don't know if it's going to look weird. I seen that video from steve adding weight to make a wheelie, that was pretty neat, that sucks he has health issue

The inner grille piece does not interfere. I moved it forward about 5mm. I think the AMT bed being shorter would be a cool, subtle mod! You should go for it.
