Enjoying following your dp and getting glimpses of your life is a bonus. Tks for sharing. I mixed looking at what you where doing and sometimes just listening as I enjoyed our garden and picking fallen apples this late summersday in Sweden. That you vary the intensity of how many videos you produce during summer doesnt worry me because I subscribe so I wont miss any. Glad to know why though. You mention that you reached 3 000 subscribers and that means that in a year you rocketed to 24 600! What a journey. Congrats Rachel and well deserved that you get this attention!

Rachel, we have a dog that behaves more or less the way Luna does according to what you mentioned. My daughter took her to the vet and the vet opinión was that some dogs are extremely sensitive to atmospheric changes and increase their anxiety even when there are barometric changes, even before storms. What she recommended and has improved her anxiety is putting a tight vest and giving her camomile tea in her nighttime meal. If you do not have a special storm vest, you can use a tea shirt tight to her body or an elastic bandage crossing from the back underneath her tommy. Hope this helps.😊

I understand the frustration with staticky drills 😖 You also have a very cute sneeze... When it comes to putting out content, it is summer time and if people can’t understand that you may put out a little less content and they unsubscribe they aren’t thinking of you... those who matter won’t mind, and those who mind don’t matter... I love longer videos as it gives me something to listen to while I DP, I got a good section done on my angel baby painting... Many Blessings #vibetribe 🌈

Rachel, I'm adoring you & your videos. Thank you for being so open & sharing. I have that storage container & I've gotten to where I automatically know to push the diamonds over a little where it closes. That sucks you had so much static, OMG!!! I haven't experienced that yet & now I know to use dryer sheets! About video length: I like both short & long, for different reasons. I generally prefer the longer ones because I diamond paint (or do other crafty stuff) while watching. I watch shorter ones when I don't have a lot of time. Congrats on the subs, looks like you're almost at 4K!

You just keep making videos when you can, and we will be watching...no worries! My technique for dealing with static is to take a whole dryer sheet and lay it over my tray, then dump all the drills into it, fold it over and rub the drills around inside of it, then dump them into the tray, and into my container. Of course put a piece of dryer sheet in the container to handle any leftover static.

Thank you for uploading this today. My dad passed away exactly one year ago today, and I'm kind of "hiding out" on KZbin. I'm sitting here feeling like a horrible person because I'm not the kind of person that goes on FB and makes posts about how sad I am because it makes me uncomfortable when people try to cheer me up - I always feel like they are just saying words they think I wanna hear, but in reality they don't really give a crap because they have their own life's woes. So I hide out on days like this. But I feel bad because I'm also not "there" (on FB) making my other family members feel good, and I just hope they realize it's not that I dont care, it's just that I don't have it in me today. Anyway... geeez maybe I should just delete all that and start over? LOL Anyway... I really like when **certain** people make long videos (like even 2-3 hrs).... You, Doni, and Mrs Coffee, hellyeah, I could listen to you guys all day long (and usually do). But there are some that... trying to be nice here.... let's just say after about 15 minutes whether they are done or not, I am clicking on a different video. I like them, but only in small doses. As I said, I am just sooo glad to hear your voice today and sooo glad it was a longer video (could have been even longer and I wouldn't mind). I'm always DP'ing when I 'watch", so it's nice when I don't have to look for a new video to play every 10 minutes.

I love long videos so go ahead and take your time ... it is like working on a project with a good friend💖. I actually like the kitting up process - not so much the kitting down one though. Static is a menace whenever it occurs and, yes, I get static a lot where I live too. Dryer sheets, cuss words and RUM are my solution. You make whatever videos you feel inspired to create and we will watch them (or skip them if they don't speak to us I suppose) and enjoy spending time with friends. HUGS! 🤗💖🍷

Another Static tip: Blow in the bag like you are blowing on a window to draw a picture. the moisture in your breath with cut the static instantly. This works for glass beads, nail art rinstones and beads and for this too. its so much easer and a lot less frustrating, I think. Try it and let me know what you think.
@julieyeates86195 жыл бұрын
I have static issues a lot but I think it is because of low humidity. I live in Utah which is a desert state with low humidity. I use a static guard spray and just spray a mist all around my work space and the containers which are the same you're using and it helps. I spell walk in front of my dogs too or just call it a W.😄

Hi Rachel, I have allergies too so I know how you’re feeling. I started using anti-static beads. I found them on the same shelf as the dryer sheets. They’re easier to add to the containers than cutting up the dryer sheets. Hopefully they sell them where you live. Also, I have a dog that’s very scared of thunder. There is a all natural solution called Rescue Remedy for Pets. The original version is for humans. I give my dog a couple of droppers full of the solution and it calms her down so that she’s not running around shaking and peeing everywhere. I know it came be ordered online. Just a suggestion, but check with your vet first.

I live in Florida. I work with tiny tiny seed beads. The Ziplocs that they come in can I have static. I shake the bag down till the beads are in the bottom half and I make my cut with the scissors across right above there. That way they don't get caught on the ziplock and you can rub them between your thumb and your forefinger to get them out the rest of the way.

(I live in Norway) But it's so wierd to hear you say that kitting up is your least favorite thing about DP... It's so satisfying to me!!😍 But I would have been so frustrated!! A TIP: When you pour the drills in the box, maybe have a piece of paper underneath, that way you don't have to pick up every single drill that don't go in, you could just fold the paper slightly in two, and tilt it...
