Rachel I love it when you talk about your depression it's only when we speak about it that we can help others who might be struggling too. You're so brave and I applaud you. I found your channel by simply searching diamond painting on KZbin. I heard about it from a friend and decided to check it out for myself. You and Mrs. Crochet were my teachers. Thank you so must for being so open and sharing about your depression Rachel- I have Bipolar Disorder and in the last few weeks ive been suffering bad from the depression side of it for the first time in a long time. It feels so good to relate to someone’s story like yours (i feel less isolated). I have found diamond painting along with other creative hobbies to be such a good outlet for me and when i started diamond painting i found your channel while doing some research into it. I appreciate your honesty! Depression is very real. Going through this Covid-19 pandemic has caused quite a few people to become depressed. I use diamond painting to keep me in a positive frame of mind! I am a teacher coach. I miss my co-workers and the students! Remote teaching helps keep us in touch with each other, but it's not the same as being able to interact with each other in person! Thank you for being transparent, and I pray you are doing well, especially during this time! -Ms. Blue💙

We are such kindred spirits. I love cross stitch, diamond painting, crocheting and knitting. I have been to Ireland (I'm 1/4 Irish) and have always wanted to live there. I've also spent so much time in my life on drinking and looking to be social in that way. I have stopped. I hate being hung over to the point that I don't like to even have one drink anymore. I found you through a “suggestion” from KZbin! I am a manager in a jewelry department, and I believe the keystroke algorithm picked up the word Diamonds 💎 and “bobs your uncle”! You and mrs coffee are my favorites! ❤️💎 Even in the most crowded room, one can feel alone. A year ago, my husband of 28 years decided he didn’t want to be with me anymore. It has taken me a year to begin to care about, and for myself. Diamond painting has given me something to care about and look forward to. Not to mention the calm it brings me. I have had anxiety for years, and with the help of medication, I am doing things that never would have been possible. I too just took a big step with my dental health. Still more issues to tackle, but one at a time. My grandmother emigrated from Ireland in the 1910’s. I have never been to Ireland, and I’m looking forward to the retreat! That is something I never would have been able to do! Still anxious, put one foot in front of the other, and it’s possible. 🧳🦋🦄

Now I love to drill to your relaxing lovley voice. And its good to talk open about depression. I had depression. To go through therapie is even harder than have depression itself. It is painfull but worth it. One day I was waking up realising, I am free and born as a new person. It it hard to get me down since then(many years ago). I have no problems with appoinments, papers or take care of me. Nearly every day I can smile in the mirror and say I love you. Rachel, I’m new to your channel. I love your paintings and I just like you. You’re real, not perfect as many of friends try to present themselves on Facebook. I think if I knew you, we would be friends. Although I’m 50. You remind me of me, when I was twenty something. I’m glad your willing to talk about the depression. I was never allowed to be unhappy. I honestly don't remember how I stumbled across your channel. I started diamond painting this past spring/summer, and before I bought my first one, I watched a ton of videos. I am a researcher, and wanted to know everything there was so know before I started. Once I came across your videos, however, I've stuck with you. I had a brain bleed and became paralyzed on my right side. I was sad because I couldn’t do my craft work. I saw diamond painting and I tried it. My friend helps set it up, but I can do it with left hand. I look up on KZbin and found you and others. Thank you. Another chapter.

I recently found your channel because another one of the KZbin channels I follow tried diamond painting one day and it looked really interesting to me, and I wanted to know more about it. So I typed in "diamond painting" in the search and your channel was the first one to come up, and I've been following you ever since. Thank you for opening up about your struggles with depression. I struggle with anxiety a lot (I can really identify with what you were saying about having a legit fear of doctors...I do as well to the point where I usually avoid going and when I do have to go, my husband has to come with me because I get so worked up). Anyways, I'm still a newbie with diamond painting but I'm enjoying it and I feel like it gives my anxious brain a break.

I love DP and it helps to calm my anxiety. I had a rough infancy and early childhood and have had anxiety and depression since that time. I’m 69 now and the DP is my only relaxing moments.

I was listening to you read Alice in Wonderland one day and my 18 year old son came in and said “ her voice is so pleasing to listen to” He grew up listening to audiobooks everyday. My children were not allowed in front of a television as we went on many adventures together, played at the park, blew bubbles, read, went to the library, went to museums and they learned some kind of music. I found your channel because Mrs. Crochet mentioned you and so did Ramblin' Rose. So I looked you up and started watching. I've kept you because you are just so nice to listen to and I love your completely honest reviews! I wanted the dp tangled so bad, till I saw your review - Still love the photo, but I totally agreed with your review and I know I would have been super disappointed had I spent the money on it. And I have learned so much from watching you... I hope you will be around for a long time!PS - I grew up with alcoholics, married an alcoholic twice, but I never fell into it because of my childhood memories of my grandfather at every holiday... I also suffer from depression but it has much improved after time with a counselor and being divorced. In that respect I feel sometimes like a recovering alcoholic in that I had such a hard time after the divorce in finding myself and learning to enjoy life all over again. As for the the mic, I had to turn my speakers up all the way, so maybe upping the sound would help....

I was scrolling through fb and saw a ad for diamond painting, I believe itwas diamond art club, and it looked interesting to me. So I wanted to do more research before I invested my time in a craft, so I went to KZbin and one of your videos came up! I think it was a unboxing video and ended up watching alot more of your videos lol. After that I went to go buy my first dp, so you could say YOU got me into dping!
