Kitbashing a custom MECHANICAL TYRANID

Watch the whole process of converting my own Mechanical tyranid (inspired by the Cravers from Endless Space 2) from the Warhammer: 40000 Tyranid warriors.
This was made entirely from things in my bits box, the only new kit purchased was the Tyranid warriors. Some of the kits where the bits came from include: Tau fire warriors, tau XV8 crisis suits, necron warriors, and some cables from imperial guard.

MA! There a cat here Ma! She's tryin to get me to buy green stuff! I did something similar after being inspired by the Cerberus Zerg skin from Starcraft 2 but I decided to make them looted by my orks and its quite fun gluing random mech bits to them.

Water works just fine with green stuff. Or you can use a bit of petroleum jelly. you don't need tons, just a touch.

Hivefleet talos: A small hivefleet that surfaced from one of the tendril. They specialise in combat and database breaches. They focus their sights on tau machines, iron warriors, necrons alongside a STC they assimilated into their biology. It consists of five small Kruziers. Griffith: Specializing in aerial combat alongside supply runs to replenish their kruzier. Hephaetus: Specializing in both modules and weapons for combat or stealth encounters. Hermes. They specialize in high speed engagements destroying vital parts of fortess then flooding through the fortess and slaughtering everything. Hera: A scout and spy kruzier used for infiltrating databases of admech, necrons and tau, if their lucky enough a craftworld ship. They intentionally leave decoys out in the vastness waiting to be boarded or taken apart for parts by anyone whose too curious. PANDORA: INFORMATION OF THIS KRUZIER HAS NOT BEEN DOCUMENTED. Attempts of monitoring Pandora have failed. None lived to tell the tale. If they did. Well they'll be a mindless servitor upon discovery by us. It appears that they leave suriviors or what's left of them. After the servitor was picked up for probing the imperium ship it was in was ambushed and torn to shreds. Reminder: Do not pick up any lone servitors. Only scan what you can and leave quickly.

@@pega_neko glad you love it. If ya like you can use it as lore for your army, heck feel free to add more to it or give each kruzier it's dedicated colour palette. Like Griffith having blue and yellow or Hermes being a dashing orange and red.

I'mma be like Trazyn and yoink this... I recently had a semi serious, argument, roleplay thing with my admech friend. It essentially boils down to me: a zerg player thinking about building a Tyranid army, and him an actual engineer and admech player arguing which is better: Hyper evolution or advanced technology... I eventually ran out of arguments as... you know... he's an actual engineer... so the idea of a Tyranid splinter fleet that has converted to the glory of the Omnisiah was born...

I can’t imagine doing this two more times then trying to kitbash genestealers or other variety too, but I love the work you did! Edit: Should have finished the video, you are crazy. Great conversion and cool video, love your style. Little piece of advice for when you were putting together the arms and the two handed gun : use some kids play-do to give it support while the glue sticks and remove it later, it's super useful!!!

Try water or vaseline instead of oil. Water works good enough for me anyway but a lot of people i watch use vaseline

I would recommend if you do more kitbashes like these in the future that you attach the limbs with sprues or pinned paperclips first, then build up around those with green stuff or milliput. Green stuff alone isn't the best for attaching things in my experience. ❤🟠🐔
