These are definitely the most fashunable so far! Banger work on the scale-mail. And I enjoyed the pandering with the "recrestened into... something much less appealing?" bit, I think it could be made into fun rivalry dynamic in say, a narrative campaign. "Vitria Stands" and all that.

Loved the dragoons since the Gaunt books. Super cool conceptually, and not just a "we're from a desert, lawrence of arabia time" aesthetic that steps on Tallarn's toes. I'd love to see you take a crack at the necromunda guard regiments: The Necromunda 7th "Lucky Sevens" and the regiment my army is based on... the Necromunda 8th "The Spiders". Super oldschool, and really flavorful!

honestly, i'd love to see your take on one of the cross factional regiments, whether that be a regiment taken by xenos (such as the dieprian mountain men), a regiment that fell to chaos (such as the volscani cataphracts), or a PDF force on a world associated with another faction (such as the agripinaa home guard)

It's pretty easy to pull off and you can make the individual pieces smaller if you'd like. Just make the lines closer together

I tried looking for some Historical plastic kits that had scale mail, that might be used to cheat in the Vitrian armor without all the sculpting. One I found was the "Byzantine Spearmen" kit from Fireforge Games. Although they have longer skirts and no armored boots (instead having regular medieval shoes, with bulking cloth leggings tied with bands), so they'll look significantly more medieval. And while you'd want to ditch their arms for ones carrying guns anyway, they don't have scale armored shoulders even if you want to use them. On the plus side, it's a full 25 model kit with entirely scale mail, which is often hard to come by with plastic Historicals. (From what I've seen, those plastic kits that DO have scale mail mix them with other kits, like chain or cloth shirts). I might not recommend these for use as Vitrian Dragoons, but they might work decently as an homebrew regiment that employs the scale mail style. For heads, I checked Anvil Industry. Their "Republic Grenadier Heads" set looks decently like the Vitrian helmet.

I've seen an actual, supposedly, skeleton of a sabretooth tiger. Was big enough that I'd not want to come across it in the wild. For me this build was good. I've been trying to design the 40K Ultramar auxilia. There's like one picture, from the Battle of Calth in the Horus Heresy and next to no description (Black Sun). So this gives ideas. Funny enough. I AM designing a blob builder thing... Going through what is needed and so on. Eventually sculpt the bodies and make them posable with bones and the faces through morphing. Though since I am going to piss off GW in the future, I won't be selling or giving them away.... My dream is to show up at the Warhammer World with fully 3D sculpted and printed army. Since they're all one offs and not sold they have to let me play there with them. :D
