I personally have not used it since the 90s (and only briefly since we got it around the time Win 98 was released). I recently installed it with PCem and it did tickle my nostalgia bone, but ultimately it is just for nostalgia and playing games that don't run on modern systems. Honestly I would be quite impressed if the scammer knew what Win 95 is and (more over) what its vulnerabilities are.

Funny thing is, I can imagine a situation where their mark could legitimately be running Windows 95 in a VM: Grandma was never very rich _or_ tech savvy, so she held onto her old Win95 PC until it died 20+ years later. She got a new PC after, but couldn't get used to how different Windows 10 was. So a tech-savvy relative copied/replicated her old 95 install in a virtual machine, and set up Win10 to automatically load it fullscreen as soon as possible after startup.

I used to do that to scammers. A few years ago I was regularly called by them and I'd string them along for as long as possible, because as long as they were on the phone to me they weren't preying on anyone vulnerable. When they eventually asked me to connect to the internet I'd blast the 56k dial up sound down the phone at them.

​@@fafufafu5784 Well, not the TI-82 really. It uses a passive matrix and has pretty low resolution. But some later versions of the similar TI-84 has pretty decent graphics for a calculator. A TFT-LCD display with 320x240 pixels and hundreds of colors. And it can be used as a "gaming" computer, as it has a pretty fast eZ80 processor (a Z80 compatible derivative).
