I used Mackie CR3 (79 dollars) because the hook up is with actual speaker cables, and my mixes are perfect without getting high-end speakers. If you need something with a Bang for your buck JBL are amazing, Bolo has a video talking about it.

That's a lot of bread for those small speakers, A pair of JBL Studio , iloud portables monitors , or Mackie CRX or CR3. are cheaper, but I'm glad KRK is doing portables, how about some different colors krk. MPC just need an attachable studio monitor sound bar to enhanced the sound. I'm asking for too much.
