I bought the same color! I just gave it a bad review because the hopper wasn't stable. With your demonstration, I saw that when you lock it to the counter it also locks in the hopper. Thanks! I'm now a subscriber of yours! Glad to have found you.

Didn't have to cut the cheese or cucumbers put them in the long way.. i love this gadget

Nice review and I just ordered this gadget. Seems like it will be perfect for cheese. I don't think that tomatoes or soft veggies should be used on a grater unless you want soup as you said but hard veggies like potatoes, zucchini and carrots should work very well in this gadget.

I bought it for making carrot matchsticks. I don't like the ones that you buy in the stores. I'm going to try it this week and if it doesn't work out I'll probably be sending it back. I have no use for the cutting blade.

On the comercial it showed the entire vegetables, and the whole bars of cheese don’t cut them small

@Pajama Mama's Kitchen & More hellos girl frist I see that you're a professional chef i really like that, and two i own this same exact Kitchen HQ Speed Grater but in blue and abouts the cheese just like your other review @STrinidad Contigo has say you do not have to cut the cheese listening to me love bc I purchase whole bars of cheese and what i do is remove them from the package and stay them right side up one at a time and i'm telling you right now that as soon as you start it. you don't evening have to use the guard bc it will go through cheese like its butter, and i have not use it to cut up cucumbers but if you watch the guy from HSN your see that he's not using the small one's ether they are whole cucumbers now on the cutting blade I totally 100% agree with you on that i try to cut up some onions tonight for my delicious salad that I'm having for dinner tonight and let's just say they turn out ok for the. delicious salad that I'm having for dinner tonight but will not be so grate on for hamburgers or if you're doing anything else, but I just I wanted to say that with everything i have say here tonight that I am so ever happy to hear that a professional chef has put her stamp of approval on this product for what it can do with cheese, bc girl i know how you feel about them food processors i own to a KitchenAid 14-Cup Food Processor in cobalt blue color i loves it but for cheese Ya not so much plus it's loud and if your trying to do cheese it will get sick on the cheese grater blade slicer your get huge cheese chunks your have to stop it to remove them and try to see if you can get them all cheese grated trust me when i tell you it was a total huge mess, but then that it's amazing when it comes to cheese and it does not matter if it's hard cheese or evening soft cheese it will go through cheese like its butter any who i just wanted to pop in here and give you some Ponters and to let you know that you just got a brand new sub keep up the amazing work you do.

Thank you for the pointers, I'm always on the lookout for something that grates cheeses well. For the cucumbers and the tomatoes, I find that my mandolin works best. Also if you have a Kitchen Aid Mixer, the grater attachment works well, I have a review on it in my Playlist called " Review 4 U "...tfw 😊

Nice review. I would like to have seen you grate some potatoes with it to make hash browns. Also coarse grate some cabbage and carrots to make Cole slaw.
