Kitchen Pantry Clean Out and Organization/how to organize deep pantry cabinets

Came across your video. I totally understand the pantry issue. My pantry is 24 inches deep and things were getting lost in the back. I ended up buying clear bins. IDesign has some nice ones that are 16 inches deep and 8 inches wide. I can fit 2 per shelf as I have 18 inch wide cabinet. I just have to slide the container out to look through them and I was able to label each bin so it’s easier on the family. It made it super easy and worth the purchase. I literally just finished the last of the shelves this morning. Great job and have a wonderful day.

Taking the doors off and putting in pull out draws might e an option. It's what I have they're great 👍

Oh wonderful! Thank you so much for the feedback, i'll be looking into them. Did you install them yourself or did you have someone come in and do them? Wondering if this could be a good DIY project.

@@OurCrowsNest5 I had someone install them when I had the kitchen upgraded, but I'm sure they could be a DIY. They're so good, im able to pull them out and see what's at the back,i have them in my pantry and big big ones next to my pantry that hold all my pots and pans.

Just a thought. On the deep pantry situation, yes definitely some risers and I was thinking even lazy susans for baking supplies ie, baking soda, baking powder, salt, etc. I know this because I HAVE the same darn pantry!!!! Exactly deep cupboards and the top ones are Very tall. I have to use the stepladder. Anyway, great video, thank you Alicia💟❣

Girl, now I need to organize my pantry 🤣I have a wonky pantry too. It's about as deep as yours is, but closet style. It only has 3 shelves from the middle up so we ended up putting a metal wire rack from Amazon at the bottom to give us more shelves. It looks like chaos.

I have lived in my house 22 years. I enjoy organizing and am pretty good at it. However my bathroom has a large cabinet for my towels and linens. And a deep closet fot toilet paper and toiletries. This closet was always a mess, too deep, things get hidden in the back. A year ago, i bought bins from Dollar Tree and organized everything into categories like dental, hair care, first aid, etc. i got some empty cardboard boxes and filled in some space in the back. Then i put my bins closer to the front of the shelves. A year later and my closet is still tidy, filling in that useless back space made a huge difference.

Oh I love that idea! So essentially, you created your own 'wall' with the cardboard box correct? To prevent items from being pushed back and getting lost? I REALLY need to do this! I so appreciate you commenting! 💕

It might be worth gutting the pantry and remove the diveder in the middle to make it one big space as opposed to 4 smaller spaces and then adding the slide out draws. You wont lose any space that way.

Oh my gosh, YES! Would love for this entire pantry to be completely regutted and made into an actual, usable pantry without the divider and just longer shelves lol! Thank you for that! 💖

Absolutely here you go! Natural, Homemade All-Purpose Cleaner: -3/4 of the way filled with white vinegar -1/4 rest of the way with water -3 to 4 squirts of dawn dish soap -10 drops of your fav essential oil (I really love Bergamot or lemon and switch it up frequently) Shake all together in a squirt bottle!
