I love the vlogs whether they are long or short. With the longer vlogs I do tend to view them in sections throughout the day - I just watch until there is an appropriate 'break' in the content and save the rest for when I next have a cup of tea and a sitdown.

Totally agree about family meals around the table. We always sat at the table to eat our meals as a family. Chatting and discussing our day. Although I am a recent subscriber I am loving your channel. I have also joined your members group so am looking forward to that. I can’t believe you don’t have more subscribers. I’m so with you on the eating round the table. We have done it with our 3 since they were able to sit in a high chair. No phones allowed either and it’s been that way for 20 years now. So, so important to come together as a family like that. Lovely vlog as always 🥰

Ps. YES. Sitting around the table for breakfast/ dinner keeps you in touch with each other- vital for dads / step dads especially - we love it - get the place mats, napkins and candle and have a good chat about school work and what’s happening in the world- it’s always interesting to hear different family members pov.

Another lovely Vlog, thank you Charlie. Yes, we’ve always eaten around the table. My adult children often return home for Sunday dinners (that hubby cooks on the Ziggy BBQ) and / or meatless Mondays 🥰. I remember, when my younger daughter (now 29) was about three or four and we were a bit out of routine, packing to go away or something. She came into the kitchen/ family room and looked puzzled that the table wasn’t set, she turned to me with her hands on her hips and said ‘Mummy, where’s Daddy’s dinner?’ 😆😂🥰🌻

Kitchen's going to be fab, Charlie - and I love the window and greenery beyond! Our sink overlooks a field, often with cattle in it, which makes washing-up less tedious ... my mother had a dishwasher at our farm back in the 1960s/70s, but I haven't had one since! 😂xx

You heard a cuckoo? I've never heard one this late in the season. Anyway, such a beautiful area to live and walk in, you are lucky! As a family, we have always sat at the table for our meals, our eldest is now 27, and when everyone is doing their own thing, its good to come together at least once a day and chat. My mother always said, a problem shared is a problem halved! 😊

We used to always sit round the table as a family, not so now as it’s tricky living in the same house as my Ex husband 😬, but I do agree, sitting at the table is much better for your digestion and to communicate with family members. Aah you look so happy in your new home , I’m so pleased it’s all working out for you . I’m definitely with you on the table front, our house is tiny and we have to shuffle furniture around to sit down at the table , hence we more often than not sit on the sofas to eat which I HATE and is a real bugbear of mine but after 8 years I’ve given in to it but I am determined when we move we will have a table that fits 🤣 Love the new Salthouse sweatshirt in navy , def have to put that on the Christmas list ! I find Herbal Essences Daily Detox Shine (about £2 in Morrisons!) is absolutely brilliant, Charlie - give it a go! They also do an Orange Volume Shampoo, which is very good. I honestly find that I need to wash my hair more often with more 'high end' shampoos! xxx

Lovely vlog as always - I do have a question about your Salthouse 1/4 zip sweatshirts…I bought myself one in the sand/beige colour and when I machine-washed it for the first time, the fleece shed dreadfully…so much so that it blocked my filter and stopped the pump being able to drain water from the machine and necessitating an engineer call out. I have now de-pilled it thoroughly and will wash it in a lingerie bag in future to prevent the same thing occurring again, but just wondered if you’d had any issues with laundering yours? I followed the washing instructions on the label… I was just surprised with how much it shed. Thank you 😊

@@Southwesternlassie82 he is Constantine but Tintin for short! Colin is 20 yrs and a retired police horse Santana is just 6 yrs and a Belgium warmblood! Thats the difference x
