I still can't believe i posted that video. The house is such a mess, it's overwhelming. I told my husband as long as we keep the little front room area tidy I will be fine. Now we are trying to figure out what to use to protect the table top from heat and also be able to clean.

@ kitchen remodeling is the most stressful remodel a family can undertake because it disrupts everything. Your house looks like you’re moving. Not dirty, just disrupted;).

Why would replace such beautiful hardwood floors and your current tile looks so nice......and you're going to have to replace all of your beautiful granite countertops?

Thank you for your comment! The hardwood in the main walkway of the house (where people enter from outside) is hard to keep nice, (we live in wet Seattle) so tile will be a good replacement and much easier to keep clean. The granite is over 30 years old and cracked in many places and somehow my husband managed to take a big chunk out of it when he accidently dropped a heavy pan on it. I don't mind the current tile but my husband really dislikes it. When we bought the house 8 years ago one of the first things he was said was "we have to replace that tile", haha! It's time for a facelift! Nothing has been changed in 30 years, including the refrigerator!!!
