@@priusa8113 yes, in Nebraska. I believe he moved back in with his parents and she was moving some of her stuff in from Arkansas. I’m not sure if he owned it before, I’m thinking that might be right. They definitely did not live together before they got married. She had previously renovated the small building she’s been living in on her parents property in Arkansas a couple years ago. It was like a tiny house and really cute.

I love your kitchen!!!! It is my dream kitchen for sure. I am now edging towards 80, and I so wish I could still do projects. We bought our home 48 years ago, and I painted all the cabinets in the kitchen white. They were very dark which was popular for that time, but it drained all the light from the room. I hand painted them inside and out, and what work it was! I used coffee cans to lay the doors on, so waited endless hours for them to dry so I could turn them over to do the other side. Believe it or not they still look very good, not a chip anywhere. I love your white color, it is a very warm white, and looks awesome! My husband passed 3 months ago, and I could never leave our home. So many happy memories here, especially in the kitchen. May god give you many happy memories in your kitchen. Hugs....

My Grandpa did all white on dark cabinets when he retired in 1970. He died in 1971. I was born in 1972 and because my biodad was not safe for me to be with, my grandma raised me while my mom worked. Grandma passed in 1997.They were still white, although not perfect when my husband and I lived there from 1997 - 2000 when we were newlyweds.

@cindy2252, I live in South East Tx.....Actually Katy 30 miles west of Houston and we get a LOT of RAIN Too !!! I mean,,, Not as much as Seattle,,,, but Just saying !! Lol😅😂 ......Oh , Well truth is , We just moved an Hour and a half WEST of Katy and so let me tell ya, It's a whole lot dryer !!!! Bit now because of more trees , There are Scorpians , and we have a Pond, So yes, There are water Moccasins and Copperheads !!!😮😮😮 Yikes !!!

You’re going to love those drawers for baking sheets and pots and pans! One tip I learned recently is to get a plate rack and put it on its side so you can vertically store those thin items. My pans are too wide for my drawers but I was able to do it for all the lids of my storage containers! ❤ Love the completed project!
