Kitchenaid Refrigerator Drain Line Clog Fix

If you have ice or water on side of fridge door and also beneath lower produce tray at bottom of fridge, food or other debris may have clogged the drain line in the bottom corner under the evaporator to the drip tray underneath. Rather than take all the interior pieces out, use a series of large straws to connect to drain outlet underneath and blow the blockage out. Then confirm drain is operating by pouring hot water into the drain and watch it exit drip tube.
