So it sounds like you have a stuck damper. The damper is wide open. When that happens it keeps the fridge too cold. . If you have pictures or videos send them so I can see the evaporator. You can put it in diagnostic and check the thermistors , fan and damper. I’ll check if I have a video. In the meantime check underneath the hinge cover for the technician sheet. Keep me posted

Just a quick question if air damper is bad , will this cause ice build up on evaporator ???
@appliancerepairshortsАй бұрын
So not exactly, but it could cause more moisture to accumulate since it is stuck open. How long does it take to ice up? Do you have any pictures? I would check your drain tube and make sure your seals are sealing. That Mullion make sure that it is not damaged

Seals i think u talking about doors , those r really good intact no leaks from doors seal...if any other let me know...drain pipe is open ..i saw water in back in tray, .when i turn off Referigerator so ice can melt, that seems to me no blockage in drain i collect plenty of water with towel to soak the tray..after i gave it break ice to melt down from evaporator , i turn on it again after 12 hour break and now after 5 hours its running and temperature reach to 37 F , i will check tomorrow morning what is temperature !

Hi, Thank you for your video i have the same problem but the dran hole is not clogged i un clogged it and two weeks later the some problem what should i do now is there a heating element here ?

No, not at all. First make sure the drain tube isn’t damaged. I have see so many. You have the angle. That is a seal, so if it is damaged above the angle, it will ice up. If that is good, check your door seals . You can also put it into diagnostic and see if you are getting an error. Keep me posted. Forgot to mention,no I don’t think it has a heater in the fresh food section. Whirlpool use diverter valve to defrost the fresh food. Make sure your fan isn’t installed incorrectly. I have a video on that

I was just wondering why you didn't clean the mold off of the plastic, being that you have a steam cleaner ?

To be honest I didn’t want to disturb and breathe it in. The customer was able to take care of it
