Family for furries does not mean this hetero mascot family. Choosing a hetero family as a mascot is not friendly. Using Milo as a mealtime entertainment is not friendly.

It's not a "hetero family", and if you watched the video you'd know the different types of family and the significance of their choices. Milo's message was a good take that I cut for the sake of brevity. It is not entertainment; it is a keynote speech.

I consider it inclusive to family in all forms: biological (or traditional), found, and adoptive family. Celebrating biological family together with found, adoptive, and community family is not exclusionary. I do not need a heavier handed metaphor than that. The Winter Invocation is an important part of the ceremony of the Winter Feast and it is just as much about feeding the heart and soul as it is the belly as it is a community gesture and gathering, not just a place to grab dinner. If you can't see the metaphor of inclusiveness of it all, I don't know what to tell you. If you were tasked to do it, how would you have done it?

The feast always has entertainment, Milo was not the only one. Being possibly "heterosexual" does not discourage LGBT people, as many are straight and trans, or straight with a bisexual partner, or straight parents with a gay child. You sound incredibly ignorant and I hope you can someday change your way of thinking.
