Also make sure you don't use a High split power line like the one on the North (around 6 meter high) with a low split (Naish ,Cabrinha, Best ,slingshot and airush). in other words all 4 lines bar are interchangeable except for the north.

Another factor to consider is how a different brand kite or different size kite will react when released to flag line. Every manufacturer is different. Test the safety system in an area without consequences first. Don't wait until you need it!

Could you mention a bit more on one bar and the safety cross over for other kites? I use one of the many Cabrina bars with IDS but Cabrinha suggest having exactly the right bar per kite. Im now looking at a North Dice and see lots of cheap Cabrinha bars with IDS which as a four equal line bar to kite option I would think was safe but is it safe? What safety system is most transferable? Thanks Tom in Cornwall UK

Thank you. I have a 2017 Cabrinha 1x Trimlite control system. I have a 2011 & 2009 Switchblade kite. A Cabrinha chart says they are not compatible. They fly ok. Just a little soft, as you mentioned the angle. Any suggestions on adjusting the setup?

If I have Starkite 2014 10m would it work with a cabrinha or slingshot bar?

Hi! I have a question I need answer to. I have a North trust bar 2018 with high Y I also have a Airush lithium 17 kite. Are the bar and the kite compatible? I have the pigtails but I not sure about the steering. Airush use low V bars and I have a high Y bar. I do have pigtails so i solved the line connecting.

hello there, i have a question, i have a radsal 6.5m2 (4 line) with handels. I want to buy a peter lynn hornet 4 m with control bar. will this bar work on my radssail? and i want to buy a backstrap will that work on both kites with bar and handel?

Hello! I have an 2005 16 m Cabrinha CO2 KITE WITH RECON GENERATION 2 CONTROL SYSTEM, and I use it in very low wind conditions, but the safety system is very obsolet... Do u think is it possible to upgrade the control system to a new CABRINHA IDS control system or any other new manufacturer 4 line system considering the pig tail adjustment modifications?

Hey guys thanks for Info. Could you please advise how to add pigtails to F-One Middle lines, they have such a small knot there, I do not think it is safe to connect a loop from a thick pigtail cause it most likely will slip. Or are there any special pigtail for small knots like this?

Geoff so money! @stephanie I have owned 2 elements V1, they have made improvements to v2 and v3. not bad for the price. a little short on the wind range compared to some kites, losses some responsiveness when depowered, not as smooth as many kites, and not particularly beginner friendly at the top of it's wind range or in gusty conditions, imho. on the up side, great price, reasonable workmanship and durability, cheap and available spare parts, lots of pop, and good on the surfboard, drifts as well as my Ben Wilson.
