Learned to foil this season, still a begginer, no turns, just straightforward riding. Tried cabrihna, found it pretty nice, comparing to some our local brand, i found what cabrihna was easier to get up, but harder to get on flat board. And some unexpected difference, while learning on other hydrofoil i was always cut my legs, every time i get out of the water it was bleeding, some how never happend to me with cabrihna. Might be i just got better, might be some clever construction idea. Also cabrihna has really nice V-shaped cut on it's tail, which helps a lot to handle the board while adjusting your feet before standing up. Helps a lot if you are begginer.

Out of those three foil set ups, which would you say was the lightest weight? I now you didn't have a scale, but which one felt the lightest when carrying it?

Hi! I am a 10 years Italian kiter and I would like to start foiling in light wind days. I was thinking about the duble agent, to use it also a surf, so thank you a lot for the advise that is a bit harder than other foils. Now I was thinking about a used Moses, Is an Italian brand, what do you think about it? I would like an easy foil also good if I become a better rider. Any suggestion? I’ve also seen your 5 tips video to buy the first foil ;) Thank you a lot for your videos, they are all very useful!!

Hi Filippo, thanks for your reaction. Moses is a great choice, important is the setup you choose. Like the 5 tips :) The Moses Fluente is a great all-round foil. Long or short mast? It depends if you gonna ride in flat or choppy water conditions. Our choice would be 71 cm mast in flat conditions and the 91cm mast in choppy or small wave conditions. If you want to race then take the longer mast. So I hope this is helpful for you, have a great time foiling. \"/

Yes it helped me a lot! Unfortunately In my spots there is only choppy water so I will pick the 91. Just some other small info, if I can ask... Looking at some used boards sold near me, I’ve seen a lot of Silente, it could also be a good choice? And about the board, on the web I can’t find any explanation about the differences between the T20 and the T40 Thank you a lot 🤙🏻

T20 is a 120 cm board and the T40 a 140cm board ;)

Which one did you like moste?

Hi, Henrik. We liked the F-one for its foil capacity, the North for its ease to correct mistakes and the Cabrinha of its playfulness

Could you comment on the weight and noise while riding of the foils
@Kitefinder7 жыл бұрын
Hi, Daniel, we didn't had a scale, but we are used to carbon foils and boards and we can say all three starter foil sets are much heavier. How much, sorry we can't say. Surprisedly you can't feel the extra weight while foiling. Caring long distances that would make the difference.
@dksurfer7 жыл бұрын
Yes for sure they would be a bit heavier than the carbon. I am also using the carbon foils!. Did you notice any annoying noises while riding the foils?
@Kitefinder7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the North was whistling a bit. Probably the foil needed a polish

Mooie review!!

Thanks for the video the north look interesting I would recommend u to try the alpine 5.0. Why people’s should buy a hydro-foil? Fashion or pure speed and performance ?
@Kitefinder7 жыл бұрын
Our opinion in this range of foils? Buy a hydrofoil to lengthen your water time. So low wind performance. (Under 14 knots)

Waiting a review on performance hydro-foil
