I have the 15 meter. It turns fast. Stays in the air in light wind. Tends to fall back into the wind which is great for foiling. However, if it falls out of the sky the canopy sinks into the water . It is a very difficult size kite to relaunch in light wind. I suspect the smaller sizes are much easier.

My 14m airush dna has probably been one of the best kites I have. I've had it a 1.5years and now have to replace the bladder and bridles

Yesterday I was with a 13m ozone V2 vs the airush ultra light - I have to say it fly pretty well in low wind

Geinig :-). Nice and fast turning vs a flysurfer Sonic2 11m. But 2 questions: how well does it relaunch on the water at 8-10 knots? And finally, at 10 knots, what would you prefer, a Sonic2 11M or this kite?

Hi bbani, with a bit of time oldschool swimming towards the kite, "relaunch" worked. Prefer the Flysurfer or Airush. That's really personal. If you want the fastest turning & playful kite you take the Airush. If you want more grunt, more kite feedback and overall pull, go for the Flysurfer.

I would never buy kite with one strut construction, kite would flutter way more on high wind 25-35 kn, where the gusts are more intense , I still prefer 5 struts which offer solid and stable performance. And yea Airrush Ultra reminds me on old days when I was flying Royal Era.. while looping kite fluttered too. And newbies in Kiteboarding World, please note that fluttering means canopy destruction.

Just tested a 6m in 18-38mph heavy winds with double overhead + surf in Maui yesterday. No flutter unless you loop it depowered. Super solid and stable, relaunched in a critical spot flawlessly too. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to fall out of the sky, even when racing directly at it on a massive wave. If you haven't ever flow one, you're only guessing at the performance :)
