Amazing video! Awesome explain! The only thing I can say is that the leash should not be attached on the back of the harness and should be on a side to make it easier to use in case of ejection. Thanks again guys and keep going like this 🤟🏻

Thanks as usual for your videos, this one was of great value for me, and I nearly made it during the latest session I enjoyed. As predicted I enjoyed many crashes trying to fine tune the right timing...but that is a fun experience for one of the very first tricks you can experiment. Would say this is a weird feeling to rotate for the first times, as you're kind of desorientated.

Can the outside lines brake because of the friction created after the back roll, since you probably have to do 30 try's and you have to stear your kite with twisted lines after landing in the water to keep moving?

Hi there i really love your tutorials they are helping a lot to progress. I am doing my first backrolls, while on one side it goes well with the kite control, when i go the other direction my kite loops when i do the backroll and i don’t understand why. Have you encountered this issue with other students ? Thank you so much

Hi Axel, that actually happens a lot, people tend to steer the kite while distracted - and during backrolls they often pull the back hand. Most of the teaching structure in this video is specifically designed to reduce the chances of someone steering by mistake. That's why there's so much focus on kite control, and not steering the kite during rotation. I recommend that you do lots more small jumps on the side you are having issues with. With enough practice your kite control will become more natural, then you should be able to backroll without steering the kite. Also keep your hands centered, and learn in lighter wind on a bigger kite, as a bigger kite won't respond to minor steering mistakes. All the best, Alex.

@@kitesurfcollege thank you so much for your reply. While both my hands are centered on the bar, i think that when i engage the rotation i have the tendency to pull on my back hand just as you said. I’ll try to focus more on that on my next session and hopefully can solve this issue, also I’ll keep practicing more small jumps as it is always useful to perfect the basics. Now i manage to do proper backrolls without looping the kite (today i even managed double backrolls, super fun!), my problem was that I didn’t put enough pressure on my front hand, to correct the problem i put a little bit more pressure (not pulling hard) and the kite doesn’t loop anymore, making my backrolls way smoother. I hope this helps people who have same problem i had
