What exact kite are you using there? I mean, when I go to your web page to buy it, I can't exactly find what I see in this video. Also, taking full note of all observations I've made watching this video, ehem, how many times must we change clothes per kite flying session up until we wrap-up? tsk-tsk ;o) Kidding. On a serious note though, still need to know exactly what kite you're flying in this vid.

I've been interested in getting into trick / stunt kites and this is the best video made in the past 11 years. I wish the title of the video had more info and/or descriptive text so I could have found it weeks ago when searching for how to fly a parafoil trick stunt kite (hint: please add these to the description at least)

OTHER TRAINER KITES CAN ACCIDENTLY ROLL AROUND AND YOU CAN HOPE THEY LAUNCH FOR YOU BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY THAT RELAUNCH ON PURPOSE LIKE THE SENSEI WAS MENT TO. MAYBE YOU HAVE SEEN OTHERWISE. THERE ARE TWO LINE KITES THAT YOU CAN BUY FOR $5 AND OTHERS FOR A FEW HUNDERED. THE SENSEI IS THE BEST QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE FOR THE PRICE AND THE KITE THAT SAVES ME AND MY STUDENTS TIME IN THE CLASSES BECAUSE IT WILL RELAUNCH EASIER THAT ANY OTHER TRAINER KITE OF THE SAME VALUE.

Looking to try the sport by using this trainer on land instead of paying for expensive lessons for using trainers. Q1> What is the windspeed required for launching this trainer and keeping it up? Q2> Will it knock me off my feet.(Trying to avoid a trainer that would do that)

you can look for a 4' flexi foil as a trainer kite they are relatively cheap now as they are a old kite and have very little power if you trim the bridle down, but can pull you off your feet in a 20 knot wind. they also have a lot less strings at the top of the kite as this trainer kite. So it is easier for a beginner that has never flown a kite or owned a power kite before. to progress if you are unsure you can purchase the flex foils in varied lengths up to 12' if I remember correctly.
