I like your format. A lot of Fromsoft lore KZbinrs will mostly read item descriptions or play clips of NPC dialogue while giving their thoughts on it. There's nothing wrong with doing it that way and I like it as well, but the way you presented it as if reading a story was really comfy. Subbed and looking forward to more.

I don’t know why, but I can’t take in FromSoftware stories without someone literally spelling it out for me. Thank you very much for this. My wife who doesn’t play the game watched these videos and is hooked by the stories. You can miss so much by just playing the game and not knowing these grim tales. As depressing as they are, they’re brilliant.

Great job on this lore but there is more to the misbegotten, they were under treated by the golden order like the omens. They were thought to be dangerous and bad so they were imprisoned as slaves like Huge, our weapon upgrader. So the took refuge in Miquela’s haligtree; were they were welcome. You can see them praying to the haligtree there. I hope this was helpful.

Castle Morne ties into the Frenzied Flame quest line. Edgar drops a Shabriri Grape and Hyetta doesn't show up if you kill Irina. They both use a similar model and set. It is possible like Shabriri did to Yura, Hyetta has taken Irina's body after death to serve the Three Fingers.

I think there are more to the Edgar invasion, since a questline with an NPC called Hyetta, who apparently uses the same model, clothing and voice as Irina who asks you to give her Shabriri grapes whenever you encounter her, she's related to the Lord of the Frenzied Flame ending. Shabriri is also the identity of the entity that possess Bloody Finger Hunter Yura after his death despite of whether or not you completed Yura's questline, this entity will also try to persuade you into doing the Lord of the Frenzied Flame ending. And after you killed Edgar, he also dropped a Shabriri grape, so there might be a lot more to it. Great video nonetheless!

Yeah someone else just said that if you kill Irina, Hyetta doesn't show up, so that definitely seems like the Hyetta quest is realted. Definitely will explore that quest with her!

I did not realize there was more to this quest. I found this castle early on while exploring and found it to be easy for the level I was at, so just killed everybody. Then I met Irina and thought "oh, that's a cool tidbit. Time to leave this island." Now I realize there's a whole storyline there

I believe that the misbegoten revolt has something to do with Kenneth Hights who is claiming that Godrick is not the proper ruler of linpgrave. He mentioned cooperation with demi humans who can be found in combat with Godrick's men. Assuming the misbegoten are separate bread of demi human Kenneth might have organized the attack

I immediately got flashbacks to that quest in Witcher 3 where you go to the castle on an island near Velen and encounter the ghost of the previous Baron’s daughter after a peasant mob stormed the place and killed everyone. Even just getting the beats of the story explained to me, I can tell this game’s quests are well written and designed.

This is my first souls like game. And what a beautiful game it truly is. I have not played a game like this in my whole life. Have always loved open world RPG. Mostly in the form of Dungeons and Dragons from the late 70's and 80's into our modern age. This game captures a beauty that is much like a dream state. Playing this game I get these senses of De'ja'vu that this is the last great game I play in my lifetime. I am sick with something that I know will take my life within a few years. It is nice to have something to take my mind off such things and a community who shares a love for other worldly things. Cherish these things, as in this life you only get a couple of these in a life time.
