New upgrades look great Scott! Good to see Nikk up and about again. I am just finishing my Kitfox panel and it looks very similar to yours (Except I used 5 different hardwoods for panel). Also built a new glare screen out of fiberglass, that was fun (not). My next cross country this summer is the southern Utah area. I also am planning a Boise trip, maybe I can look you up while I am up there.

I envy you Experimental guys. I have a 1946 Stinson 108 certified under CAR3 and I want an all glass panel but I have to have certified avionics and back up instruments. The FAA frustrates the hell out of me because we both fly VFR and we can both kill two people, but we have different rules. Maybe MOSAIC will fix that. Nice video and a great looking panel that I would LUV to have.

Scott, I forgot to ask you about your helper Nikk. This is the first that I have seen anything about him since the stol races. But he was still wearing those strap-on leg braces. No one seems to know if he had dropped out of aviation or not. As a contributor we would kind of like to know if he got enough to replace his crashed kitfox plane. Btw I cannot say enough about the improvement of your panel. It looks really really nice. Thanks for the video.

Nice!!! I love the upgrades just two questions.You talked about removing the braces over were the front wheel used to be but didn't how come? And how much weight did you lose in the upgrades
@ScottPalmerair4 жыл бұрын
Kitfox suggested I not do it, in case I ever decide to sell and the new owner would want the option to return to the little wheal on the wrong end. I lost about 50 pounds
