Bad is an understatement... I literally don't buy ASUS because of it. Got a Asus ROG B550 and its the last product I'll ever buy from them. Armory crate is literally bloatware. Makes my PC sluggish for no reason and the mobo by default has an option to auto-install Armory Crate. Its insane. And worse of all it barely works...but ya uninstalled that rubbish software and turned off all RGB.

I had a similar experience where even after re-installing fresh Windows every time Armory Crate loaded Windows would BSOD I have since moved over to Aorus products and have zero issues

My buddy brought over his pc for upgrades. It had a asus b450 prime. Upgraded the cpu and gpu from a ryzen 1700x to a 3600x and a gtx 960 to a 6700xt. The bios update went well, but I couldn't get Sam to register in bios. Checked every setting and in my opinion asus has the worst bios screen I ever seen. Armory Crate also destroyed performance. Had to Uninstall it to get the studder out of his games.

Occasionally my headset when using it, having problems with the audio and I cant hear anything. I really dont know what to do. Kept reinstalling Armoury Crate to update the firmware of ROG Fusion II 300..and still doesnt work.

I was considering this one as well as one from Razer, not sure what to do now, but this one is definitely off my list. their R&D department needs to really go back to the drawing board. Mics are important on headsets. Otherwise people would just buy headphones.

You should check out Kit Guru's reviews of the Sharkoon SGH50 V2 & Corsair HS65 headsets if your looking for great mic quality, both sound amazing for headset mics

Thing is with Armoury Crate, whenever I had an ASUS motherboard I hated it with my guts, and as long as I swapped mobos, had the same peripherals (Headset and Keyboard) from Asus, it worked flawlessly. I haven't had anything bad that happened, and it seems to be the most stable as well. iCue on the other hand though.... That is complete trash, I had so many problems with it, I sold every single one of my Corsair products just because of iCue. I think, overall, companies that make software for their products have to step up their game because it is just so bad that no company has a good software.

My Corsair RAMs changed colours without touching a single bit of iCue, one of the ram had a different color compared to the other, my headset sometimes blew up while gaming, the volume increased for a short period of time and then returned to normal state. This only happened to the headset while iCue was open, although without EQ the headset sounded very bad. My mouse is the only thing that was fixed with double clicking firmware, however I had to wait 2 months before coming to a conclusion with the Corsair support, since they replied every 6-10 days. I had so many problems with Corsair and their software, I got fed up with it so I sold everything and never looked back.

Really good noise cancellation. The effect from "perfect voice" ant and "noise care" is minimum. It will be interested to hear both mode on "perfect voice" and "noise care" together.

Mat, you're quite right about the durability of plastic - I had much the same problems with my Creative Labs Rage headset. Having to turn 7:1 off for music is a deal-breaker for me. Well done for spotting it. But please raise the camera to the level of your face. I really don't like looking up your nose.

I think next time I am getting a GPU it will AORUS, I have no problem with my ASUS GPU, but I have no control over the RGB since I know that Armoury Crate is bad.

ROFL, you are in for disappointment. This review bashes Armory Crate and I can't defend it as I've been disappointed by how badly it works, but so far Asus has been superior to Gigabyte. I would also recommend that as soon as you get your Aorus GPU you should type in the serial number and verify it has a warranty. I have discovered the hardway that new Aorus GPUs don't always come with warranties despite what they list on their product page.

Ditched armoury crate for open RGB. Armoury crate is absolute crappy bloatware/spyware. My pc runs loads better without that garbage. Managed to get rid of shit loads of processes. Worth benchmarking the difference imo
