An absolutely amazing village; really quite stunning. It’s wonderful how they have maintained the charm and character of the church through the centuries.

Lovely place. I'm not religious myself by any means but still marvel at the architecture of such buildings and why I asked about the new church under construction when on one of your village tours quite a while back when you went to OROUNDA and into the valley and came across st. Nicholas monastery. Looking forward to being here with daughter and granddaughter's (Megan and Miley) in 10 days to protaras with a bit of exploring to boot. Thanks for all you do to help with getting around and having some knowledge of places to eat and visit 👍 Cheers Steve

Hi George and Su thank you so very much for showing this vlog I’m not sure were to start on this besides firstly the church is really beautiful and so is the village everything is so beautiful clean and tidy it’s bigger than you think we have only drove through Kiti on the way to the Camel Park and briefly drove around it so I got excited at this vlog and it is on the list as we keep saying we will go and have a proper look around this village and it’s never happened so maybe this year it will and now we sort of know were the Indian restaurant is so thank you for that and looking forward to the food vlog

"George, I left this comment the other day, but on my phone, and it didn't "take" so I'm leaving it again. The next time you're in Larnaca, you should check out my old neighborhood of "Chrysopolitissa" which is around the church of the same name. Specifically, my neighborhood is around the Larnaca cathedral of Sotiros; there's a mosque right down the street, "Tuzla Mosque" which used to be a Catholic church during Crusader times, and even before that, a Greek church! Across the street is an old fountain they say is from Venetian/Crusader times that became a Turkish hamam, which is now under renovation. This particular village has been swallowed up by Larnaca, but has a history of its own. To the north of the main street, "Chamit Bei" was the Turkish side of the village, and to the south was the Greek side. However, there was a Greek church in the north side, and an old Turkish cemetery, as well. If you want more information, let me know. It is certainly an interesting off-the-beaten-path destination for people. I used to live there and would like to let people know about its interesting history.

Just for interest sake George, the house on the busy roundabout is €315,000 reduced from €350,000. An interesting look around Kiti.

Not sure if you are asking where is the Mosque - if so - it is on the dual carriageway from the airport into Larnaca and take a turning left before the massive salt lake. There is a large community of cats there I believe who are fed etc by volunteers. Very famous Mosque for Muslims to visit.@@CYPRUSINSIGHT
