I always liked this video, it's not my favorite but it is a must watch- though, every BTS MV is a must watch. The behind the scenes were great for this one too. The guys were afraid of hurting the actress, Jin was apologising ever time he had to 'shove' her into the lockers. I know some people see this video now and think badly about it but BTS were younger then, and they were singing about teenage angst stuff back then. Hormone fueled stuff, so yes it's aggressive but it meant to be. I don't see an issue with it, but I get why some who don't understand and take the video at face value might have an issue with it. However I encourage those people to educate themselves before throwing around the word Misogynistic. If you want another flashback video I do recommend BTS's graduation song(Like school of Tears it's a cover but they rewrote it, Jhope and Supreme Boi wrote it).💜

The last "oh" actually means 'yes', and out of all the ways to say 'yes', it's the most masculine and tough-sounding way. So it's him being a bit of a thug saying "Yo, College? Sure, I can learn anything for you. A-B-C-D-E-F-G, whatever, yeah bae."

This song is about a guy with a crush trying to be with the girl he likes. However, not using the typical romantic and sweet tones that love songs & confessions describe, they express they love in a more direct aggressive tone. During one of their interviews J-Hope, one of the rappers of the group explains that the track brings an old school hiphop style with a strong beat & rock swing tempo. During behind the scenes in the making of the MV they had to keep bowing and apologizing to the girl for the roughness because the idea was to make it look more genuine! HIGHLY RECOMMEND REACT TO THEIR DANCE PRACTICE

Since you loved that dune buggy thing so much, you should watch the dance practice. You can see it nice and clear, that part of the choreography. And it was fire. I love this music video, it's BTS fetus days, and I always find them so cute when they're trying to be hard asses, because they're such cutie pies. It's like watching a litter of kittens trying to intimidate a German Shepherd. Jin manhandling the girl, but the behind the scenes, he's constantly apologizing and she's having to reassure him it's fine, Suga acting all aggressive even though he's the most laid back of the group, V with his growling when we all know he's a goofball. And J-Hope acting all overly masculine and "thug", when all I can see and hear is him smiling and going "Hobi" in tiny.
